I broke free and spoke my heart
The sea bubble and the sky turn red
And the system tremble it to dust
I am restraint to have my freedom of speech
But not to write

I am in bondage because I spoke the truth
Woken the memories of their injustice, corruption, and inequality

I am sent to confinement I still find my voice echoed through the pound
Men eat dirt for food and slept on the hard earth
And work on barefoot and tore hands

I speak and speak till they tired of hearing
I am sent to the sick house and through the face of my people
I saw the fear of death
Fear of being unnourished
Fear of failed health system
I summon my strength and speak through the hallow wind and it carries it like dust up and down the nation

I am sent to the institution to learn
the instructor says it's not free
yet we read and write on the bare floor
classroom under the tree
and we paid for A
while they watch with turn face

I am in shackles for my speech
am restraint for my thought
I am in bondage for speaking my heart
free me today I still write and speak
