Today is the day.
The day of the party.
Jackson and a group of people
are holding a party to celebrate a
new school year and its open
invite, so I was thinking of going
with Jennie and Eunwoo.
I was sitting at the edge of my
bed while Jennie was sorting out
a few last-minute checks. She
was rummaging through her bag
and repeating words to herself to
make sure she had everything.
This was her 3rd time.
Y/N: Jennie, can we please go
now. This is the third time you’ve
counted your things and we
should be there by now.
She gulped and that’s when I
knew something was wrong.
Y/N: Look, if we discover we’ve
left something behind, then we
will come back and get it. Okay?
I take her hand and squeeze it
reassuringly and she forces me a
smile.
She gulps again.
Jennie: Yeah, okay.
She exhales, as if she were
holding a breath.
Jennie: Okay.
I smile and we walk outside.
Maybe she was just nervous.
AT THE PARTY:
Y/N POV:
As soon as we walk in, the music
is pounding against my heart.
Jennie starts smiling suddenly, I
can tell she likes it.
