Everything went back to normal after the festival. Well mostly normal. "Bye guys! Love you" I shout to Mic and Aizawa. Aizawa is finally out of his bandages sipping coffee at the dining room table. "See ya kiddo be safe!" Mic shouts from his room, Aizawa nods a goodbye. Walking to the train station was unusual. "Hey! you're y/n right, from he sports festival. I watched you fight that bird guy! you looked bad ass" A strange man came up to me on the street. I pulled out my headphone and quickly thanked him, saying I'll be late for my train. "You're popular" Ena laughs running past me to the train "Shut up.." Getting on the train wasn't much better. People were talking about Shoto before I got on, and it only made them more rowdy. "Hey, you were amazing at the festival by the way!"
"Oh thank you so much miss"
"Yea, you came in third place didn't you"
"You're gonna be such a strong hero some day!" I started to become uncomfortable around the many people surrounding me. My body started to flicker in response, that's what got Shoto's attention. "Hey, can't you see that you're making her uncomfortable?" He protectively wrapped his arm around me and pulled me to him. The people around us awed but backed up at the same time. "I wonder if they're a thing" They whisper. "That's Endeavors son isn't it? He came in second" I look over to Shoto who was trying his best to block them out. I sigh and hand him my headphones. He gladly accepts them and relaxes against the seat, his arm still around me. "You two really act like a couple, you know that?" A woman stands in front of me, she looks almost exactly like me, but she's a lot older and her eyes are all black. It almost reminds me of the sports festival. "Oh, um were not-" Her presence, its strange. It almost feels... home like. "I know, that's why I said act like it hon" I don't know how to respond to her, but thankfully she says something else. "Even if he seems like he doesn't like you, he does ok? I can see it in the way he looks at you" I look back over at Shoto, he has his eyes closed and he is leaning on my shoulder. He looks so peaceful. "I'm proud of you n/n" My eyes snap back to the woman, but she is gone. Who the hell was that, and how did she disappear so fast? But more importantly, how the hell does she know my nickname? "Is she ok? she looks like she's just seen a ghost" A man says. A ghost... but who the hell would know that except my dad and my... holy shit. The train dings and its time for us to get off. I shake my shoulder and we both get up. "Ena, please tell me you saw that" She looks at me with a confused face "Saw what y/n?"
"That woman on the train, the one with the completely black eyes"
"Oh, no I'm pretty sure I would have said something If I saw her" She laughs it off "Why do you ask, did she say something?"
"She... looked like what Mic described at the festival. When that thing entered my body, my eyes turned completely black. I felt so much power, it hurt. When I looked back, she was completely gone, like a ghost" Shoto looks over at me surprised. "Do you know anyone like that, with your powers I mean?"
"No, me and my mother were the only ones that I know of with our powers.." Ena looks down "Do you think... that was her?" She passes through a lamp post, making the lightbulb blow. "I... I don't know, she did call me n/n.." Shoto stops in his tracks. "Isn't that what-"
"Yea, that's the nickname my dad calls me" I look down and think. "She helped me at the festival, but.. do you think she was a villain too?" Shoto puts a hand on my shoulder, making me look up at him. "If she helped you that day, I'm sure she has good intentions"
"I guess so, your mother will always be your mother I guess" I look up and smile at him. He seems deep in thought, I guess about his own mother. "Yes, you're right"

"All it took was one sports festival, and were like celebrities!" Kaminari says to the class as we walk in. Aizawa walks into class and we all say our good mornings. "Today were going to be working on Hero Informatics" Oh no.. this better not be about hero laws. "You need code names" The class cheers as he goes on to talk about hero offers. I already know who I'm going with so I don't have to worry too much about that. Todoroki got the most offers other than Bakugo of course, and I came in third with 2,489. "These hero names will likely be temporary but take them seriously or-"
"You'll have hell to pay later!" Midnight came into the room with whiteboards. "Midnight is going to have final approval of your hero names" He passes the whiteboards to us and some markers. What should I name myself? I look over at Shoto and see he's already done. Damn that was fast. What about Haunt, no, Wisp, eh, Possession? no that's too scary, maybe phantom? or something simple like Ghost? Oh, ghost. I like that one. "OK times up kids, who would like to come up and share?" Other people go up, choosing names like cellophane, earphone jack, charge bolt, and even invisible girl. "y/n what about you?" Todoroki looks over at me. "Oh, I don't know, I'm still deciding" I look down at my whiteboard. "Come on up, I want to hear it!" Midnight persuades me. Walking up I hear the encouraging words of my classmates. I put the board on the podium and midnight smiles. "I just chose ghost... its pretty un original but its self explanatory of what I can do"
"I love it! So cute and easy to say, good job!" She gives me a thumbs up and I walk back to my seat. "King Explosion Murder" Bakugo goes up and I find myself trying not to laugh at the name he picked. "GOT SOMETHING TO SAY TO ME CRAZY?!" A couple more kids go up after me and soon enough were all done. "You have two days to figure out who you're going to be interning for, so you better get going. Class dismissed" Looking down at the sheet with the offers I see someone I wasn't expecting to be on my list. Why the hell would he want me to intern with him? "Hey, I like the hero name y/n" Todoroki looks over to me staring at my recommendation sheet. "Are you alright?" He looks at my sheet and I point out a specific name to him. 'Endeavor Hero Agency' A scowl makes its way onto his face. "Of course he would, he made the same offer to me. Don't choose it whatever you do" I look up at him and sigh "I wasn't going to, I just thought I should show you"
"Hey you two!" We turn our heads towards Uraraka and Deku coming our way. "Good morning guys, I love your guy's hero names too!"
"I didn't realize you two were so close" Deku laughs and Todoroki looks away. "Yea y/n even calls him by his first name, it's so cute!" I awkwardly laugh and I see a slight blush on Shoto's face. "ah.. haha yea I guess so, oh do you guys know who you are doing your intern with yet?" They shake their heads no. "I'm thinking about going with Pro hero Gunhead!" Uraraka says.

"So, who are you going with?"
"Well, this might come as a surprise but I was thinking about going with my father"
"Oh really, why the change of heart?" He sighs and looks up to the sky. "I just think... well maybe spending time with him will clear some things up. Like clearing the air, for both of our sakes"
"Wow, that's really inspiring Shoto" He turns to me and stops walking. "y/n, I want to keep in touch with you while were away interning. Would it be ok if we exchanged numbers?" He takes out his phone "Of course, I would love that" We exchange numbers and continue on our way home. "By the way.. we keep getting interrupted when you try and ask me that question" He looks confused for a moment before realizing it "Oh, that.." He gets all flustered again and looks away. "I..I want to tell you my feelings towards you.. but I don't know how to" I lean my head to the side in confusion. "I find it more simple to just show you" What does he mean by that? He walks closer to me and takes my hands in his. Oh, that's what he means. "I get this... feeling when I'm around you. Like nothing else in the world matters at that moment. My heart beats faster and I get this... feeling in my chest" He looks down and sighs "If you're saying what I think you're saying, then I feel the same way Shoto" He looks into my eyes and I see that slight smile appear. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear that" We smile at each other for a while and then Ena jumps in. "Why don't you ask him to walk around town with you a little! It can be like a date!" She pulls on my sleeve in excitement, which Todoroki notices. "Is that Ena?" He says looking at my sleeve. "Haha.. yea that's her. Hey, would you like to take a walk around town with me?"
"That sounds nice"
"AH YES. Mission successful!" Ena screeches. "Ill see you at home, oh and I'll tell Aizawa and Mic where you are" My eyes widen in realization. "Wait Ena no! Don't you dare say anything like that!" She laughs "Don't worry I got chu, go have fun. I owe you one or helping me with Tokoyami after all" I sigh in relief. "What was that about?"
"Oh, nothing. Lets go ok?" He takes my hand and we walk past the train station to the more open part of town.

Walking around town with Todoroki was wonderful. We stopped to look in the windows of shops and look at the flowers at the stands. He looked to at ease the whole time, he looks so different than he does at school. I guess I was staring too long because he looked back at me with a confused face. "Is there something wrong?" I smile, he's so innocent sometimes. "No, you just look so calm. It's nice"
"Well, that must be because you're here" He takes my hand in his once again and kisses it. My face turns red at his touch. "Oh, look at the beautiful lights" I break away from him to walk over to the small area. They have lights strung from the trees to the tops of the canopy's of the buildings. I'm busy looking at the fairy lights over one of the trees when Todoroki comes up behind me. he taps on my shoulder and when I turn around, I'm met with a red and white rose. I laugh "Aw how fitting"
"A beautiful rose for a beautiful girl" I blush a deep red and take the rose. "It's so cold" I look up at him, he blushes and looks away. "I froze it so it would last longer" Like a sign from above, the song "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" came on the speaker and I laughed "Music follows us wherever we go I guess"
"Well its a fitting song" He also laughs looking into my eyes. "You're unexpectedly good at all this Shoto" I laugh and smell the beautiful flower. He lightly chuckles with me "Yes well, when you have an older brother, those are the types of things he wants you to know" We continue walking down the brick path below the fairy lights when my phone rings. Picking it up I see that It's Hazashi "Oh no" Todoroki is the only one who knows about me living with the teachers, since he is the only one I trust enough to tell. "Is it Present Mic?" He asks, I sigh and open my phone holding it away from my ear. "Y/N M/N L/N WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU IT IS ALMOST 8PM YOUNG LADY" I sigh "Ill take that as a yes"
"Y/N WHO WAS THAT?!"
"That was Todoroki wasn't it?" Aizawa comes onto the phone. "Ill be home soon guys, calm down"
"YOU BETTER GET HOME NOW BEFORE I.. I DONT KNOW ILL FIGURE IT OUT. JUST COME HOME NOW" He hangs up the phone. "I'm sorry Shoto, looks like I have to get going now" I sigh. "Don't worry y/n I'll walk you home"
"Oh no that's alright you don't have to do that, I'm sure your family is wondering where you are also, I wouldn't keep you any longer" Todoroki takes my hand in his and kisses the back of it. "What kind of gentleman leaves a lady to walk home alone?" My face goes red again. How could I say no to that?
