Later that day I found myself standing on Eris's doorstep. I didn't even know why I was there, I just was. Maybe it was because I was upset, or maybe I just wanted to see her, I wasn't sure.
But there I was. Ringing her doorbell at 10 o'clock at night. The door flew open and there stood my mate, looking quite annoyed. All annoyance erased from her face when she saw me.
"Hi." She breathed, smiling.
"Hey." I replied, stuffing my hands into my pockets.
"So, what are you doing here?" She asked. Then her eyes widened, "Not that I mind you being here, or that I don't want you to be-"
"No, I understand," I laughed, "It's just. I was just...bored, and I just wanted to hang out I guess."
"Yeah - okay! I mean - uhm sure. Do you want to sleep over or...?"
"Could I? I mean, would that be okay with your parents?"
"They're not here often." She shrugged. "Do you want to?"
"Uhm yeah." I replied, giving her a little smirk. "I'm just going to go get my stuff."

When I got back to her house I had all the things I needed, including my phone. She seemed giddy and I couldn't help but smile.
"So this is the kitchen, and down the hallway to the right is the bathroom." She told me as we passed by said places, and then up the stairs after we passed them.
"Okay." I nodded as she told me where things were and where I should go if I needed anything.
"Anyways, my room is just up here so.." She tugged on my hand dragging me down another hallway and then finally right when we came to the end.
I ignored the tingles shooting up and down my arm from her touch and took my hand out of her grasp, not wanting to seem weird. Trying to distract myself I looked at her room. Her walls were a type of cream color. Her desk, bed set, wardrobe, and dresser were all made out of nice looking wood. Her bed sheets were burgundy, her comforter was blood red with white and black designs covering some of it. She was loaded. My room seemed like shit compared to hers.
Then I took notice of one of her walls full of pictures. I walked over there looking at some of them. Eris was in a few but one of them specifically caught my attention. Eris was with a girl, their arms wrapped around each other, smiling at the camera. They looked so...so happy.
"Who's that?" I asked pointing at the girl in the picture.
"Oh uhm," she blushed - to my annoyance, "that's Quinn. My uh...."
"You're uh?" I prodded at her to continue.
"My ex best friend." She said quickly, looking down at her feet.
"Ex? What happened?" I questioned, trying not to seem like I was prying. I wasn't trying to. Well, okay, yeah, I was but still.
"Nothing." She said mumbled. "I don't want to talk about it."
"Oh. Okay." I coughed awkwardly. She didn't want to talk about it. That was perfectly fine. Perfectly fine.
"Anyways what do you want to do?" She asked, hugging her elbow.
"I don't know, it's your house." I shrugged.
"But you're the guest." She pointed out.
"Yeah, so? It's your house, you choose."
"No. You have to choose."
"You know what? Fine. I'll be the bigger person here, what do you have to do or whatever?" I growled, annoyed. Why couldn't she just choose?
"I don't know."
I groaned and flopped down on her bed. I heard her giggle a little and I couldn't help but think that it was the most adorable sound in the world. I looked at her and saw that she was smiling. My eyes involuntarily went to her lips.
"We should play truth or dare." I blurted.
"Truth or dare? With just the two of us? Isn't that like, a kid thing?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Not if it's dirty truth or dare," I smirked, "or we could just play spin the bottle instead." I flirted shamelessly, and winked at her. She blushed and hid behind her hair. I hated it when she did that, hide behind her hair. I loved seeing her blush.
"Or we could just play regular truth or dare." She said quickly sitting criss-cross-applesauce. I sit down across from her in the same style.
"Okay, truth or dare?" I asked her, smirking.
"Truth..."
"What's your sexuality? Be honest." I asked, leaning forward a little. She visibly gulped and stared at the floor.
"Oh uhm," her cheeks colored, "I'm..I'm a lesbian." Her gaze stayed on the floor, but I couldn't help the smile that consumed my face when she said that. "I kind of wanted to tell you later so you didn't run away but.."
"I don't mind. At all." I winked at her and her mouth dropped open a little. "I think you got a little drool there." I giggled and wiped her chin, jokingly.
"Truth or dare?" She asked me, coughing awkwardly.
"Dare." I replied bravely. She looked around the room looking for something, before she got an evil smile on her face.
"So, you smirk and wink, a lot. Well, at least tonight you have. So every time you do either one of those things you lose an article of clothing."
"Eris, wow. I'm surprised. In a good way." I made sure not to wink at her, and raised an eyebrow instead. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
