Game Day - Songwriting Workshop Day - Callback Day - HELP!

Gina, EJ, Big Red and Max enter homeroom before the bell goes. Ricky and Nini are sitting at a desk together, talking about the day ahead of them.

EJ and Gina run around behind Ricky and Nini and cover their eyes while Max brings over a cake and place it on the desk in front of them.

EJ and Gina remove their hands as Ricky and Nini both gasp when they see the cake.

"Oh my god!" they say together.

The cake is shaped like a musical note with chocolate icing on top.

"Aw thank you, guys! Oh, we have something for you, too." Nini states getting up and walking over to a board that has a random melody written on it with Ricky.

"Ta-da!" the two teens shout as they present the board to the basketball players.

"Oh... it's a song?" EJ questions.

The musical prodigies giggle as they flip the board to reveal a poster of a large Wildcat making a basket with the words 'GO! Wildcat Hoopsters' next to it.

"Oh!" the teens exclaim in realisation.

As they stand appraising the image, Ricky and Nini begin bombarding the Wildcats plush basketballs. EJ catches one of the balls, throws it back at Ricky, ducks his next throw and picks him up making the other boy giggle as he tells him to put him back down. EJ laughs, placing his boyfriend back on the ground and pecking him on the lips before running out to the hallway with his teammates as Gina brings Brianne and Seb over to the door. Miss Jenn arrives just in time to see their little presentation as Ricky and Nini watch from behind along with a few other students.

The entire basketball team is in a formation in the hallway. They are each wearing their team jacket with a letter printed on their shirt underneath it.

Gina then explains what they are doing, "From our team to yours."

They start off with Max, "G"

"O"

"D"

"R"

"A"

"M"

"A"

"C"

"L"

"U"

"B"

Ending with EJ, "Exclamation point."

"Well, seems we Wildcats are in for an interesting afternoon," Miss Jenn declares.

The gym is filled to the brim with spectators as the cheerleaders do a routine. The game is about to commence. In the locker room, Coach Caswell is standing by the door talking to his son, who is sitting on a bench.

"How you feeling?"

EJ chuckles, "Nervous."

The adult sighs, "Yeah, me too. Wish I could suit up and play alongside you."

"Hey, you had your turn!" the teen jokes.

Mr Caswell walks over and sits down across from his son, "You know what I want from you today?"

"The championship?"

"Well, that'll come or it won't. What I want is for you to have fun. I know all about the pressure. And probably too of much has come from me. What I really want is to see my son having the time of his life playing the game we both love. You give me that, and I will sleep with a smile on my face no matter how the score comes out," he explains.
