1 ~ First Day

Ciel's POV

 The first day of school, high school that is. I sit outside the school as I wait for Alois and Lizzy. They recently got together and now walk to school together since they live next door to each other while I live on the other side of town and have to catch the bus to school.

Sebastian's POV

 "Will~! Pay attention to me~!" My friend, Grell, whines, pulling on William's arm as we walk towards our school.

 "In a moment Grell, Sebastian, you okay?" William replies as I spot something, or rather someone who catches my attention. A young boy with slate hair, fair skin and blue eyes sitting in front of the school gate, playing on his phone. I run ahead of my friends and kneel in front of the young boy. "Hello, I'm Sebastian," I say to the boy, causing him to look up at me.

 "I'm Ciel, Ciel Phantomhive," He replies, with a slightly confused look.

 "What are you doing here by yourself?"

 "Waiting for my friends, Lizzy and Alois,"

 "Did I hear someone say my name?" A boy asks dramatically, walking up behind Ciel holding a girls hand. Ciel sighs at the voice.

 "Ciel, who's this?" The girl asks, letting go of the boy's hand and helping Ciel up.

 "Lizzy, Alios, this is Sebastian, Sebastian, this is Lizzy and Alios," Ciel says, first pointing to me, then the girl, probably Lizzy, and then finally the boy, assumingly Alios.

 "Pleased to make your acquaintance," I say quite formally, standing up as well. Lizzy giggles and says "Please to make your acquaintance too," Grell jumps onto my back and hugs me from behind. William walks up behind him and looks a Ciel and his friends before quickly looking back up at Grell. "Well, we should head inside, feel free to talk to us if you see us at lunch," He says, fixing his black fingerless gloves.

 "But we don't know your names," Lizzy states.

 "I'm William and the other boy is Grell," William smiles warmly and walks away, allowing Grell to put his arm around his neck. I smile politely at the three of them and run to catch up with my friends.

~ (❁'◡'❁) ~ Lunch Time ~ (❁'◡'❁) ~

 I grab my food and see Ciel not knowing where to sit so I walk over to him. "Hey Ciel, wanna sit with me and my friends?" I ask him. He nods without saying anything and follows me to the table where Grell and William already are. Grell is resting his head on William's shoulder and clinging to his arm. Ciel and I sit on the other side of the table and Ciel looks down at the ground. "Bassy, when are you gonna get a partner?" Grell asks as he moves off of William to let him eat.

 "I don't know, don't you know how terrible my last boyfriend was? It hurts to think of him," I reply as I rest my head in my hand.

 "W-What did he do?" Ciel asks me, his voice quiet and soft.

 "Well, he forced me to wear what he wanted me to, never showed affection to me unless he didn't have my permission, hurt me when I didn't do as I said and was only ever nice in public and around my parents,"

 "Oh, I'm sorry,"

 "It's not your fault, I just need a bit of time to get over it," Ciel looks up at me, his blue eyes lightly sparkling. I push his hair away from his eyes and spot he's wearing an eyepatch over his left eye. He moves his head away and stares and his food. Grell takes a bite out of his apple before leaning on the table to show something to Ciel on his phone. "You seem like the type of boy who'd like this playlist," He states as Ciel grabs his phone and glances at the playlist on his phone. The songs were stuff like Hey Little Girl by Sophiemarie.b, Empty by Olivia O'Brien, Miss Wanna Die by JubyPhobic and My R by Hikaru Station. The name of the playlist is "Broken Children" by Pinky. (Actual playlist on Spotify with the same details in case you were interested) "Huh, thanks, I'll check it out later," Ciel says giving Grell his phone back. We eat for a bit and talk more until the bell rings. "Well, I guess we should head to class now, see you soon Ciel!" Grell says, being the first to stand up followed by William.

"Okay, bye!" Ciel replies, beginning to run off then coming back to hug me. It catches me by surprise but I hug him back.
