Nightmare

He sighed in relief when his phone buzzed.
It was Kaylynn.
He talked to her for hours and then invited her to come to his house so that they could just watch a movie or something.
When the door bell rang about 30 minuets later, he politely complimented her and let her in.
"You look beautiful," He smiled.
"Im not even wearing make-up," She blushed.
"You dont need it," He whispered softly and turned on the TV.
He sat down on the couch and she joined him. She seemed to be keeping her distance from him until she realized that they were going to watch a horror movie. She scooted over to the point were their legs were touching and he automatically felt butterflies.
Half way through the movie she was cuddled into his side and he was pulling her close to him.
Her head was resting on his shoulder and his head was on top of hers. She was shaking by the end of the movie and he couldn't help but chuckle at her vulnerability.
By the time they looked at the clock it was 11:00 and snowing.
"You know its not safe to drive home," He said seriously.
"Yeah," She breathed.
"You can stay here if you want, i'll sleep on the couch, you can have my bed," He offered.
"I can't do that, that would be rude," She said.
"No it wouldn't, come on, it'll be fine," He edged her into it.
"Fine," She gave in.
"Good, now are you hungry?" He asked.
"Yes," She replied with a smile.
"I can make spaghetti," He said.
"Go for it," She encouraged him with a playful punch to the shoulder.
He nodded and went to the kitchen and started making their food.
When he was done they both sat down at the bar and began to eat.
He watched as she took her first bite.
She made a thumbs up to him as she chewed, as if saying its good.
