“y/n... i was thinking that maybe—” he paused for a second, having second thoughts, and sighed.
“what's wrong, daichi?”
he held my hand and kissed the back of it. he smiled and looked at me.
“we've been dating for a couple of weeks now... and i really want you to know that i trust you and im serious about you. so, i would like you to meet my—uhh parents...”
he whispered the last word but it was enough for me to hear. but... parents? i know i want to meet his parents but im starting to doubt my self!
am i worthy to be with him?
will his family love me for their son?
can they—accept my past?
come to think to of it, i never told him anything about my past. well, except for the fact that i was treated badly by my so called parents/guardians.
daichi seemed to notice that im having second thoughts. that's why he embraced me so tight. his other hand grabbing my waist and the other was grabbing the back of my head, carefully placing it on his shoulder.
“it's alright if you're not ready. i understand—” he chuckled as he smelled my hair's fragrance. “—we'll meet them when you're ready baby.”
i nod my head as a sign of yes. he's so good with words! that's why he's so charming. but also shy sometimes.

after many hours of sitting beside each other, daichi strumming his guitar, and me picking flowers while plucking the petals....
i've made up my mind.
“daichi...”
“yes, baby?”
i took a deep breath before saying what i want to say.
“i-i think im ready to meet your parents.”
there was a long silence between us that's why i looked at him if he's still listening.
he's staring at me. “are you sure? i-i mean i do want you to meet my parents but uhh—if you're not ready then—”
i placed my finger in front my his lips and smiled. it wouldn't hurt to risk, right?
i know it's not that big of a deal to others when it comes to this. but in my case, i really want his parents to like me... and so i became scared and started thinking what-ifs. and—
he cupped my face and made me look at his deep dark brown eyes... and slowly leaning in...
“DAICHI!!”
