Lexie's POV:
Mr Brunner was leading us around the museum. One of my favourite ancient civilisations was the Greeks and I was proud to say I knew more than the average historian. To the gods, to Greece's history, heck even to the fighting style, I knew nearly everything. Well thanks to my dad and trips in the TARDIS anyway.
Mr Brunner stopped us all in front of a 4 meter tall Stele ( That's a grave marker if you didn't know ) and started to tell us about the carvings on the side. Again I wasn't really listening as I had my eyes trained on the person we had suspected to be the alien, Mrs Dodds.
Mrs Dodds was a wrinkly old hag who always wore a leather jacket and looked mean enough to spit in someone's drink and pop a child's ballon all while riding a motorbike into the front room of your house.
Luckily she didn't notice me observing her as she was too busy sending Percy evil eyes. The old bat had gotten the job of maths teacher when the last one apparently had a break down.
The unusual signals coming from the school had lured me and my dad in but there was something strange about them. They had started off faint but eventually grew stronger with every passing day so we couldn't just ignore them.
These signals were like nothing we had seen before. Even my dad couldn't tell what kind of tech this hag was hiding, and that was quite strange as our TARDIS should have been able to label what kind of alien she was just by looking at the signals. Alien tech gives of a signal that varies depending on what kind of species it was made by but these signals didn't have a label. And that meant it wasn't alien.
This fact had thoroughly incited my dad and before I knew it I was enrolled as a student here, well more like a spy, as we tried to figure out who and what were giving off the signals.
Luckily I had managed to convince my dad not to become any sort of teacher here because like usual, it would end up with something exploding. And if he became the chemistry teacher like he wanted, that something would more likely end up being the whole science block.
I had quickly become bored of watching Mrs Dodds so I wandered off
from the group a little and started to admire some of the ancient black and orange pottery whilst humming under my breath. I kept unwillingly repeating the same tune as I viewed the artefacts until Percy spoke extremely loud."Will you shut up?"
Being the British idiot I am, I thought that my consistent humming had set Percy off so I immediately started to apologise before I realised the question was directed at Nancy.
Everyone started to laugh, weather at me or Percy I wasn't sure, but they all quietened down when Mr Brunner spoke.
" Mr Jackson did you have a comment?"
Ah, Percy then.
I felt sorry for Percy. Being singled out in front of the whole class seemed pretty harsh.
As soon as I thought that I mentally slapped myself round the face. I was thinking like an American. Good god I need to get out of here soon.
" No, Sir."
When I looked back at Percy I nearly laughed myself, for he was bright red with embarrassment." Perhaps you'll tell us what this picture represents?" Asked Mr Brunner pointing to the Stele.
As soon as I looked at the image an answer immediately sprung to mind.
Kronos eating his kids.
Come on Perce get it right!
I loved Ancient Greece so much and I hated it when people got the facts wrong.
