RETIREMENT

It's been 5 years I had joined in ACO. Now I am going to retire. And tomorrow is my wedding day with julie. I fell in love with her when I am sent to Chicago on a mission. She is a doctor. I met her in hospital when I got injured. Day by day I visited her for checkup and we both got along each other. We decided to marry.
Everyone is shocked about my retirement news. They didn't expect me to retire like this. I am going to spend my peaceful days with her. I don't want to do this work any longer and I am tired of this.
Julia family is making arrangements for our wedding. After submitting my retirement letter I looked at my life watch. It shows how much lifetime transferred to me and how long I can live. It shows that I can live more than 5000 years. It's not unbelievable after all I killed numerous criminals.
My partners who worked with me are standing in front of me after I got out of our boss room. I can say that they are eagerly waiting for me because it's all written on their face.
"Hey, are you really gonna retire for a girl?" Asked john with anxiety. "Yeah, I am tired of this mass killing for 5 years and now I am going to enjoy my life." I replied. "If you are really gonna retire it will be a huge loss for our organization. I bet you had a long argument with our boss" said jessie. "Yeah it turned into a 3 hour argument. Even though I told him I don't want to work he didn't let go of me!!!". Everyone laughs. "You must have arrangements to do. We will meet you at tomorrow on your wedding time" said peter. "Sure" I nodded my head by saying that.

I hurried to julia family and they are very angry on me. "Why are you late? No, you are more than late" shouted Charlie(julie father) with a harsh tone. "Well, I had a long argument with my boss" I replied with apologetic tone. "Anyway we finished most of the arrangements you don't have anything to do. You just have to get ready before your wedding time" said Charlie. And again I told him sorry. Julia texted me to come over her room. "I wonder what it is...." thinking like that I went to her room. She selected my wedding dress and showed it to me. To be honest I felt sad that I can't pick my own dress. But her selection is not bad though. "It's good and I am sorry for troubling you" I replied. "Oh, don't worry about that after all you are the best agent in your branch. I pretty much predicted that you would have a long argument"she said. If I am there for dress selection it would be easier for her but things didn't go as we expected. "So, we really are going to marry right" she asked me. "Of course, we are and I am waiting for it" I replied and we kissed each other.

Finally it's our wedding day. My boss, my friends, Julia's friends everyone came for our wedding. Everyone wished us a happy life. "Where did you plan your honeymoon"asked john in a sarcastic way. "We haven't planned yet" I told him. Even though I don't tell him he can track me down with ease. Because the moment you are born here a small tracking device is injected in you. It can tell about your location. Not only that, it will give information to ACO if you broke any rules or do any criminal activities. And a bounty is placed on him. In this way most of the criminal activities are reduced. Our wedding ceremony is completed. It's really a grand success. I didn't thought our marriage ceremony will be this great.

It's been 10 days after our marriage. We both went out for shopping. After finishing our shopping we both headed to our home. I am pretty sure that we locked the gate and door but they are unlocked without being broken. Julie is scared. I told her to wait in the car. I went in with a gun. There's a man sitting in our sofa. I never expected him to be here. He's currently 226 years old but still looks like a 25 year man. He's the boss of another ACO branch who gave me S rank assignments by paying a lot of money to me. I put my gun on the table and sat on sofa. "Don't you know I-." " You are retired. I know" . "Then what do you want from me Chris." "Although you had retired it doesn't mean you don't have to work right?" "What do you mean?" "Look you work for me one last time and I'll cover for you. Of course you will get paid a large amount of money." "I am sorry Chris I can't do that sort of work anymore. That's why I am retired now. I have a wife I will have my own family. I can't do this anymore....." "Don't disappoint me William. I am asking you one last time... Are you in or not?" "Sorry this time I am not..." "Have it your own way William." He walked out of my house without saying another word. "I wonder what he will do?" Realising Chris is gone julie came to me. "Who is that guy?" Asked julie. "Oh he is a old partner of mine" "what does he want?" "He just didn't know that I really am retired."
Julie stood silent. And I went to the car to bring shopping bags.

On that day night a sudden call came to me. "Who the hell call to me at a time like this?" In a sleepy mood I picked up my phone displaying a private number. I lift the call "who is it?" "William! Save me!" I heard Jessie voice and I immediately asked " Jessie! Is that you? What happened to you? Where are you?" "If you want to save Jessie come to the coordinates that I will text you." And the call has ended. And a message came to me. I checked my inbox and immediately rushed out of my house. "William....be careful" I went to her and kissed her forehead and said " I wil be back before morning."

I went to those coordinates and I saw Jessie in a beaten up state and tied with rope. I freed her. After that another call came but it's not a private number it's julie. I picked up the call and immediately I heard her crying "William! These guys are going to kill me" I panicked " What are you saying!!" "It's me William. I am Chris." "Chris! What are you doing to her?" "If this woman made you stop your work then I am afraid she should not be alive." "Wait Chris don't do anything to her I beg you!!" "You're too late and the words like beg won't suit you William." BANG. I heard a gun sound. And I can't here Jules crying. My heart stopped for a moment and without realizing tears came from my eyes. "Jules!!!" I shouted. I left Jessie there and immediately rushed to home. She's dead. Jessie rushed to my house with John and Peter. They found me crying by putting Jules head on my heart.

This news spreader all over my ACO branch. Jules parents are on onslaught. On next day morning everyone in my ACO branch, Jules friends, relatives attended her funeral. Everyone left after her funeral except me and my boss Antony. " I am very sorry about your wife Stephen. Now are you pissed off?" "I AM!"

RETIREMENT DOESN'T SUIT HIM.
