Hayley looked at me, her mouth dropped open, she obviously recognised his name. She quickly shut her mouth and remembered that this was her job and that she had to abandon any emotional connection to him. That was one of the most important lessons that we were taught in training, and as our particular branch was used to mess with peoples heads it was particularly important, avoid feelings.

This was the thing I expected to have the most trouble with, as I got attached very easily, and I was worried that I would form an attachment to the handsome drummer that I would meet in a few hours.

Leah decided to look up this Ashton Irwin and his band, 5 Seconds Of Summer. Hayley, who was looking over her shoulder, gasped when she saw the good looking boys in the photo. We identified Ashton, Luke, Calum and Michael.

“I like Michael the best!” Hayley said with a smile, Leah and I sighed.

The two girls and I spent the next 10 minutes discussing the four boys that we would meet in a few hours. We were driving to the airport to get a plane to Dublin, and our car would be sent on a ferry later with all our equipment with. We would be carrying our personal luggage and any other things that we would need for our cover. I sat back in my seat trying to come to terms with the job that I had chosen to do.

We climbed onto the plane and found our seats, I was on the window seat, Gabe sat next to me, Leah next to him and Hayley on the aisle. I put in one of my headphones and tried to relax for the hour that we were in the air. Gabe tensed up as soon as we started to move, he hated flying. I laughed at him for a second then offered him a chocolate.

“Food makes everything better.” He smirked back at me. I laughed back and faced forward again.

A few minutes later I heard a faint humming from the seat next to me. I turned to face Gabe.

“Are you humming Metallica?”

“It calms me down.” He grunted, looking slightly insulted. I chuckled.

“Here, share my music.” I smiled and handed him one of my headphones. The sound of Green Day flooded his ears and he relaxed and shut his eyes. I couldn't help but stare at his perfect face, the way his chest rose and fell as he breathed. I shook my head slightly there was no way that he would ever like me. I wasn't particularly pretty, my face was plain and my hair hung in thin, faint waves from my head. I was thin but I had curves and overall there was nothing about me that stood out. I sighed and tried to fall asleep for the remaining 45 minutes of the flight.

When we landed we walked out of the plane, through security and out into the sunshine of the Irish summer. I gulped and picked up my bag. I was ready to do this.

Hayley, Leah, Gabe and I walked towards our taxi. When I switched on my phone I noticed I had a text from my secretary in London, giving me the address of the hotel we were staying in and the address that we would be meeting 5 seconds of summer at in exactly an hour. I gave the first address to the taxi driver and we drove off.

We arrived at the hotel and checked in. Leah had already promised to room with Hayley for this trip so I was with Gabe. We took the lift up to our rooms, and within half an hour were ready to take the 20 minute journey to the arena where 5 Seconds of Summer were playing that day.

“I don’t know if I can do this!”
