Haizaki sighed as he fished out his keys from his pocket and eventually unlocked the front door. Pushing it opened then, he noticed that [name] has returned home from the supermarket while he had gone out for his interview. A gentle sigh escaped his lips then as he placed his bag on the small shoe cabinet together with her school bag.
Realizing that he had spent a tad bit too much time outside, after all, he did meet up with his friends whom he had known since high school, as they were the reasons why he managed to land an interview.
He slowly walked into the living room and noticed on the small dining table that was right next to the kitchen counter, was some bowls and a plate that were cling wrapped then. A smile appeared on his face as he noticed a handwritten note was placed on the table as well.
"Remember to heat it up before eating," he whispered to himself as he read the note and he could only chuckle then as he soon went to heat up the food. He placed it in the microwave and set the timer, only to have himself walking towards [name]'s room to check on her.
He knocked once and opened the door, only to notice her sitting on her bed with her knees up as she hugged them. He then watched as she turned to look at him, and soon a gentle smile appeared on her lips as she placed a finger against her lips.
He chuckled softly then as he soon left her room, shutting the door behind him.
"Must be talking to that friend she has made," he said with a smile and soon went back to the kitchen to gather his food once more. He sighed then as he brought the bowls and plate out, setting it on the coffee table as he switched on the television to enjoy some show while he had his food.
His dark blue ocean eyes then wandered as he looked at the photo frame that was sitting on the coffee table. A bitter smile appeared on his lips then as he soon reached over to it and flipped it down.
"Disgusting," he whispered out and soon started to eat as his attention was now on the show before him, savoring [name]'s homecooked food that he had missed for a terribly long time. A satisfied smile appeared on his lips then as he continued to savor the food as he watched the show that was being broadcasted.
[name] on the other hand, was sitting on her bed as she looked out to the clear night sky. A sad smile plastered on her face then as she listened to Sanemi's personal story.
"So... He always beats you and your siblings up?" she whispered out, and Sanemi could only grunt in response. Her dark blue ocean eyes could only then smile a little then as she could hear the gentle breeze, and the sound of chains rattling.
"Are you at the park?" she asked and Sanemi could only grunt in response.
"Are you crying?" she asked once more, and [name] could only laugh then as she heard Sanemi clearing his throat then, and he tried to deny. A gentle chuckle escaped her lips as she got out of her bed and grabbed hold of her jacket.
"I'll go find you," she said with a smile.
"No... It's fine... I don't want you to see me like this as well," he muttered out, and [name] could only laugh then as she put on her jacket and soon left her room. She then noticed Haizaki was looking at her with his head leaning against the top of the sofa, and she then covered her phone.
"I'm going out for a little while, nii-san,"
"Alright, don't stay out too late. If you need me to pick you up just let me know," he mumbled out, and [name] hummed in response at how understanding her older brother was. She then slipped on her shoes and proceeded to grab hold of her keys and walked out.
"Could you send me your location? I'll just be there. We don't have to see each other's face, I promise," [name] spoke out, clearly understanding that Sanemi didn't want her to see him in such a state then.
