CHAPTER TWO

It's dark.
I can hear the movements of the water from where I stand.
I felt the cold breeze envelopes my bare skin.
I looked up and saw the moon radiates the whole area.
Stars are scattered, my feet are on the calm sand, the night induced tranquility.

I'm at the beach.

Oh! How I love beaches! I swiftly walk forward to where my tiny feet could meet the water.

I closed my eyes and feel the serenity.

From afar, I saw a man standing just meters away from me. He seemed to be in deep thought as he glance the immensity of the sea to where my eyes couldn't meet.

I walk closer to him, as I continue to study his appearance. Wait, he looks familiar. I think I've seen him before.

He's tall, has slender body, and err– young. He looks like a college student. Maybe in his 20s? I don't know.

He's wearing white long sleeves folded in his arms, white pants, and bare footed. Both hands were inside his pockets.

I looked at him, and saw his clean-shaven, attractive face. I continued tracing to his longing eyes that speak sadness. His milky chocolate orbs flickers by the radiance of the moon. It's soft, and warm. Chinky eyes! Basta talaga chinito, bet!

My eyes darted to check his high acquiline nose, down to his soft, and full cherry lips which is partly open– parang mesherep!

Wait, am I checking him out? G! I think I just did! – chosera! may time mag describe?

Luh! Ang harot ko naman sa edad kong sampung taon! OA ng descriptions! Para namang ang galing ko sa English! Hindi pa nga ako nagkakaregla pero ang lakas na ng loob kong kumire!

I was silently scolding myself, when I noticed the man's lips presssed into a thin line.

Eh baket ba lips ng mamang to ang hinaharot ko?

"Kasi ang pogi sya! Rawr!" Piping sigaw ng utak ko.

Eh baket parang sad si kuya?

Ang ganda ng lugar pero, namumukod tangi ang kalungkutan nya. Hay!

Pero familiar talaga sya eh! Parang nakita ko na sya sa ... kwarto ko? Luh!

Pero promise talaga! parang may kahawig sya sa kwarto! Nubayan!

... Tama! Kamukha nya yung idol ko. Yung magiging asawa ko pagnagka regla na ko!

Yung idol kong pag nag smile sa tv, hay! Ulam! Yung dimples nya, yung chinito nyang mata, the best! Dapat kapit bisig ang panty kasi nakakalaglag talaga! Parang naiihi tuloy ako ngayon! Ano ba Celine!

Pero kasi etong kuya sa harap ko, kamukhang kamukha nya. Tiningnan ko sya muli. Yung mga mata nya, ilong nya, pati labi, hawig talaga ng idol ko.

IDOL ...

My mind is in complete maze as I take another look to the man in front of me.

After a minute, realization hit me!

Yung lalake sa harap ko, kaya pala familiar!

Halaaaaa si...

"NICO?!"

He was dumbstruck.

I couldn't stop myself from screaming! My voice resonated the silent night! I couldn't believe it! The man I truly adore is in front of me! Holy mother of goose, Amen!
