Man, there's really no one who'll hire a 19 year old? I thought to myself. I had filled out job applications, went to several interviews, but so far, no luck. I had almost given up hope, but it's her that keeps me going. Her, and my unborn child. There was only one person who was able to tell me she has faith in me, and that was Magnolia. She was out with her best friend Harley, and despite my protective side telling me to go with her, I stayed behind to look for work. I think I know who to call.

"Hello? Is this thing on? Hello?!" Finally he picked up.

"Gramps, it's me. Face the camera away from you." I instructed.

"Ah, Shun, just the boy I wanted to see. I heard you got a girlfriend. When am I gonna meet her? Is she a ninja too?" He was always this nosy.

"Look, is the ninja training school still in need of help? It's urgent." There was no time for him to be asking questions.

"I suppose. Why? I demand you tell me." God damnit.

"If you must know, I knocked her up and now I need money to support her and the baby."

"Grandson, I thought we discussed this. Protection is very important." God,  what a geezer.

"Look, can you recommend me to the people there? The longer I wait, the worse Magnolia gets. She means everything to me, and she needs my help." I was getting annoyed.

"Huh? Oh alright. But you better bring her by to meet me." He groaned. Yeah I know old man. When I hung up, I sighed. This was going to be a long eight months.... Just then, I heard the front door open and close. She's home!

"What's wrong Mag? Did Harley get you down?" Dan said when I got up to greet her.

"No, Harley's fine.... But.... Oh Dan, they were so mean!!!" She sobbed in his arms. What happened? Who was mean?

"Start from the beginning, but slowly. What went down?" Runo soothed.

"It started when I dropped Harley off at the train station.... I was walking home, when I thought about my parents.... So, I gave them a call, and told them everything......... My mother told me that I should get an abortion and get on birth control, and my father basically disowned me........" She cried. What?!

"But you didn't mean to get pregnant. Besides, it's your choice. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You wanna have this baby, right? So do it." Alice hugged her.

"Baby, don't you worry about a thing. It's not confirmed yet, but I might have a job at the ninja training academy. I'm going to help you raise this child." I told her.

"That's not the worst part.... When I asked them to help me, they turned me down and explained how they didn't want any part of it. So, I got upset and forbade them from visiting me in the hospital..... I love my parents, but I thought they would support me no matter what....." She dried her face. There's my strong girl.

"Man, that bites... I'm sorry you have such shitty parents... My mother is always cooking and doing her little yoga exercises, and my dad is obsessed with pudding.." Dan opened his mouth to say something more, but Runo elbowed him and cleared her throat.

"I mean, you don't need them anyway. We're your family now. And that baby is gonna be spoiled." Dan grinned nervously.

"Oh Dan, you guys are the best... Sorry I came home so late.... Harley and I didn't keep track of the time....." She looked at me. Don't worry my love, I'm not angry with you. Later that night, Magnolia's on my lap, back to my stomach, my arms around her, and our lips eating each other up. I can't help it. I've been needing her lips since we got home. I was fondling her breasts through her bra, and I was being careful, as they were tender.

"Shun... You..... You don't have to get a job for me....." She inhaled as I kissed the back of her neck.

"I'm not doing it just for you... It's for the baby too...." We laid side by side on my bed still making out. I needed to step up to the plate and care for her and the baby. My phone rang, and I sat up to answer.

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is Sensei Dom from the Brawl City Ninja Training Academy. Is this Shun Kazami?"

"Yes it is."

Ah, yes hello Mr. Kazami. Your grandfather called and told me you'd be a great addition to the team. He also informed me that you're a highly skilled ninja? Is that correct?"

"Yes sir. By the age of of 13, I had already learned the art of combat and pretty much everything else."

"That's good. We're looking for someone to teach the little ones, is that something you'd be interested in?" This was my chance to work with kids!!!

"Yes sir, it is." I hope I get it.

"Great! Now, you'll be working from 10 a.m to 8 at night, sometimes 9. Does Monday sound good to start?" Yes!!!

"Yes sir, that sounds good!"

"Fantastic! We look forward to meeting you!" When I hung up I spun Magnolia around and kissed her deeply. She giggled.

"Baby! What's this about? Who was that?" She laughed when I dipped her and kissed her again.

"I got the job honey! I start Monday, so I'll have all weekend to spend with you." I rubbed her stomach. So we spent the whole weekend going to the fair playing the games, riding the rides, making out on the Ferris wheel(we got some disgusted looks, but we were too happy to care), winning stuffed animals( I won her a dragon bigger than her), and by Sunday, it was like when we first met.

"Okay, okay, so what would you wanna name it if it's a girl? I like Rio." She put her hand on her stomach.

"What about Shiori?" I suggested. It was my mother's name. See, when I was young, she grew ill and had to be hospitalized. I moved in with my grandfather, and before she slipped into a coma, she gave me my first Bakugan, Ventus Skyress. She died a year later after being taken off life support. It grieved me to have to let her rest in peace, which was why I slept around and had so many relationships lasting no more than a month. Now that I have someone who was as bubbly and caring as my mother, I had a reason to be happy.

"That's a pretty name. I actually like that better than Rio." She thought about it.

"What's if it's a boy? I like Ryuu." Though Magnolia needed to know about my mother, I felt like she wasn't ready. Instead of telling her, I just avoided it by sleeping.
