Levi re-read his last text. Wanting to keep our relationship in private should be a good thing but she couldn't help but feel that he was doing it to protect not only his female fan base, but his ex lover too. They had dismissed the meeting, she walked down the hall and went straight to her office, her assistant was on the computer doing something and noticed his boss didn't react to his greeting.

Daniel walked into her office and saw her sitting and staring out the window, she looked a little sad.

"Hey boss, you okay?"

She turned and looked at him, no smile but a sigh escaped her.

'Daniel, can i ask you something?'

"Of course. What's up?"

'Have you ever hid a relationship for other reason other trying to keep it just between you and the other person?'

"Um, once i did. We didn't want to tell because she was one of my friend's ex girlfriends and we hooked up too close to them breaking up so we lied about the timeline. Other than, another reason might be to protect someone else's feelings."

'Hmm.'

"Hey boss..."

'Daniel, call me Levi.'

"Levi...whatever the reason this guy might not want to broadcast your relationship it might not be for any negative reason. Your amazing and anyone who would want to hide a relationship with you isn't the kind of guy you deserve."

'Thank you, Daniel.'

-meanwhile in Vegas-

He had the guys over to chill, maybe do some shop talk but his mind was elsewhere. She hadn't texted him back in hours. He had called her and it just rang until it went to voicemail.

'Yo Zak, Gracie's food is where?'

"Bottom cabinet, next to the sink."

Aaron went searching and fed his dog. Where did he go wrong? All he suggested was that they keep the relationship private for a bit, he didn't want to share her with the public right now and then having to deal with his and her fallout with her best friend would make this worst.

'Gave Gracie some food and water, here.' Aaron placed a drink in front of him but even his best friend and brother knew something was bothering him.

"Thanks." a huge sigh escaped him, he fell back into the lounge where he and Levi had made out that night she came here. All those memories flashed in his mind, he knew he had screwed up and this might be the end of them.

'Zak, talk to me. What's wrong?'

"I think i hurt Levi's feelings unintentionally."

'How so?'

"She asked about putting our relationship out in the public on social media and i shut it down very quickly."

'How come? You and her are obviously a good match together, not as much as you and Olivia but why did you shut down the idea?'

"Because i don't want any problems. I don't want to offend anyone?"

'Because of the race issue? Its 2017, more relationships nowadays are interracial. Beside she's a huge step up. Funny, intelligent, sexy and different. You and her should be having babies with black hair and green eyes?'

"Green? I have blue eyes and she has dark brown, close to black."

'The DNA mixing would result in green eyes. And that kid would be beautiful.'

"She can't have kids, remember from that argument we both witnessed?"

'Oh yeah, shame. But besides the point, you guys should go public.'

"I'm not sure, Aaron. I don't want Olivia upset, I don't want to hurt the female fan base..."

'What about Levi? Aren't worried about her being hurt rather than the female fan base?'

"Of course I am....i just....i'm not sure."

Aaron took a deep swig from his water and looked around outside, his friend had done this before. Before though, they kept it private because she was separated from her husband and dating so soon would cause a problem. Levi was a scary person, but she was a good match for him, why would he want to keep her in suspense about being public. He didn't have much to say, he just sat there and didn't say a word.

That was best in this situation anyway, He was dating his ex girlfriend right now.

'You know i'm dating Olivia right?'

"Of course I do."

'So then why don't you blast her name, share her with the world.'

"Because I don't know if this is going to last"

'Why not?'

"I just don't..."

'If your worried that the same thing that happened to Liv is going to happen to her, she can keep her own. She is so fucking powerful that she could awaken the whole spirit world and then put them back to sleep.'

"Can change the subject please? I don't want to talk about this anymore."

'Can't leave her in suspense forever brother, either your with her wholehearted or your just using her again.'

Zak glared at him and fell silent. Was he using her or was he just unsure of his feelings.
