"Willow," My mother was calling to me, silently.
"Yes mother?"
"Time to wake up."
"If only time stopped so I could sleep longer," I'm not a morning person being princess of Anene isn't easy.
"You get to meet the one you are to be wed.....Prince Chase."
"He sounds interesting......is he boring like the others? I need someone to keep me busy.....and happy...I'm not asking for much here mother."
"He plays, guitar, ukulele, piano, and he can sing quite well."
"What about his background?"
"Stop worrying....he's great," easy for her to say she wasn't getting married to a man she never met, she's not the one going to meet a complete stranger.
"Now get dressed he'll be here soon." I got up out of bed and went straight for my closet.
"Not there, it's on your bed." Before my eyes was a beautiful royal blue dress, lace elegantly placed at the bottom along with subtle strands of white, a bow accompanied the back it wasn't big it was the right size, the color and everything was right.
"Are we meeting at a ball?" I asked astounded by the dress.
"Yes a ball, a sweet elegant ball."
"Thank you mother," I hugged her lightly, kissing her cheek, "I'll go get ready."
I put the dress on with my black heels, a lady never wears flats unless she is in outerwear. I twirled around in it. "Your mother said you'd look beautiful."
A tall blonde haired man was standing in the door frame.
"Who are you?"
"I am prince Chase, the one you are to marry."
"I thought I was going to me you at the ball," I played with the dress looking down at my shoes. He probably thinks I'm a child twirling around in a dress.
"I wanted to come meet you here so I could walk you down to the ball, I wanted to see how beautiful you are," I blushed, my cheeks turned red the blush I was wearing wasn't helping.
"Your even more beautiful than your mother said."
"Thank you......I'd like to say the same about you but my mother only told me little things."
"It's fine, shall we go?"
"Yes," he took my hand slowly walking me downstairs to the ball, which started without us.
"Would you like to dance?"
"Yes that would be wonderful."
We danced the night away, laughing, talking, enjoying each other's company, just enjoying each other.
"Does this night have to end?"
"I will be back tomorrow no need to worry."
"Okay," I smiled a warm light smile, his kissed my hand, bowed, and walked away. As I turned to leave a tall dark haired man bumped into me causing me to fall. He quickly grabbed my hand pulling me close before I hit the ground. "Excuse me miss, are you alright?"
"Yes thank you, I'm fine," once I regained balance I noticed my heel had broken. "Not so fine actually, broke my heel.."
"I'm very sorry clumsy me, may I have it? I'll fix it for you...I'll bring it back tomorrow."
"No. No need, I'm the princess I can ask someone to help," with that I took my shoes off and walked upstairs.
"Can I see you again?"
"Excuse me?"
"You are a very beautiful woman, I'd like to get to know you."
"Tomorrow is fine. 9 or 10 o'clock. By the way what is your name?"
"My name is Hunter, please to meet you Miss Willow. Thank you very much for letting me meet with you."
"My pleasure," I waltzed away thinking about the series of events that occurred, I had met two very different men, one who's too perfect to be mine but wants to be with me and another who's to clumsy to walk on his own two feet but he was poised and sweet I could tell there was something about him I wanted and couldn't find in Chase.
