Leah's POV

Something strange had just happened. One moment I was yelling at the idiot who had tried to toilet-plunge me, and the next, skeletons were attacking her.

Once I realized what was happening, I tried telling them to go away, and surprisingly, they listened. When they all went back down there, (wherever they came from) the ground closed up.

At this point, the bully had run away in fear, and a crowd had started to form.

Everyone was gaping at me, like I had just done something I wasn't supposed to do. (Which I probably was, because the last time I checked, I'm pretty sure it was illegal to split open the ground and have skeletons pour out.)

Then suddenly, everyone was bowing, and the centaur, (AKA Chiron) announced, "All hail Leah Harborfield, daughter of Hades, lord of the dead and bringer of darkness."

Then I realized: I am a child of the Big Three. And I am powerful.

But what I said was more like, "Um, cool..." I mentally facepalmed myself. You're acting like a goon. Snap out of it.

But instead I just strode over to my new home, cabin number 13.

Nico's POV

As I strolled into my cabin, I noticed Leah had already decorated her bunk with photos, drawings, and signs that said things in Ancient Greek.

Things like Don't climb up without permission (she had a top bunk) and a laminated paper with a dry-erase marker attached that said Do not disturb and right below it, Disturb. I guessed that she would circle Do not disturb if she was sleeping, and vice versa.

Then I remembered the real reason I was here. "Chiron wants to see you," I said.

"'Kay, coming." And we walked off toward the Big House.
