<after school>

"Let's go bubba!" Gianna cheered for her twin brother as he scored a touchdown. "Okay ladies get back to practicing." The cheer coach mrs. moon clapped her hands together getting their full attention.

Gianna rolled her eyes and groaned. "Thank you coach moon. Now, who's ready to shake some ass?!" Natalie asked shaking her Pom poms.

The three friends were all in cheer, Gia and Natalie being the captains. "Alright ladies let's see what we got!" Gianna jogged in front of her team.

As much as she complained about it, she loved cheer. The music began playing and they began dancing. (Dance routine on top)

Gianna loved dancing ever since she was a little girl. When she was in her cheer uniform, had her Pom Poms, and with her girls, nothing else mattered in that exact moment.

She didn't notice how the football team stopped their tryouts to watch them dance. Their small town might not be known for anything, but it sure was known for their football and cheerleading team.

They knew how to put on a show.

<after practice>

"Sorry sis, I'm going to walk Olivia to her house. I can't walk with you." Giovanni grabbed the small towel from Gia's hands and wiped off the sweat from his forehead with it.

He throws it back to her, Gianna immediately threw it back in disgust. "Ew bubba." Gianna groaned as she wiped her brothers sweat on her joggers.

"I'll see you at home." His eyes now focusing on his girlfriend walking towards them. Gianna rolled her eyes and looked around for Natalie.

She instantly sighed, finding her talking to Jax's brother. Gianna had to admit, she was quite jealous. But Natalie was beautiful, she could get any guy she wanted.

"Hey babe." Jackson jogged his way over towards Gianna. She mentally rolled her eyes. "I haven't seen you all day, what have you been up to?" He asked her. She had been avoiding him more than usual.

It was quite funny to him actually. "Same shit I've always done." Gianna muttered looking away.

"What's with the attitude?" He asked her confused. Jackson knew goddam well why. "Listen, I'm done Jackson. It's over." Gianna crossed her arms over her chest. "W-why?! What did I do?" He asked worriedly.

He wasn't prepared to lose Gianna, he couldn't.

"Where were you last night Jackson?" The brunette looked at him dead in the eyes. He started to get nervous. His eyes looking around the field as if he was searching for an answer.

"I saw you with a girl yesterday. And I've seen you a bunch of times before that. We're done." The brunette walked off the field. "Gia! Gianna!". He called after her, which She completely ignored.

She knew her worth now, and wasn't going to be manipulated again.

She left the school and began walking down the route to her home. Gianna never walked alone, usually Natalie would join her, but she was too caught up with a guy.

The rude self centered one, to be specific.

Gianna looked up at the stars, she didn't realize it had gotten dark.

She felt cold all of a sudden. A light breeze and feeling a little unease. "You can get kidnapped you know." Jax appeared out of nowhere.

Gianna let out a scream in terror. "Jax what the fuck?!" She pushed him as he laughed. She found it so weird, she would've felt anyone creep up on her.

The boy just appeared like magic. "I'm sorry." He chuckled, his laughter dying down. "Seriously, you shouldn't be walking alone." He said worriedly.

Jax wasn't a creep, he was just worried about Gianna walking alone.

"I had no choice, no one wanted to walk me." Gianna simply responded. "What about Jackson?" He asked.  He found out about the pair during lunch, which bummed him out.

He wanted to know more about Gianna. "We broke up." She deadpanned. "Oh, sorry." He looked down, his heart beat fastened.

He wasn't.

"Don't be, he's been cheating on me for a year now. I'm just finally pressed enough to end it, it was getting boring anyways." The brunette shrugged. "What was boring?" Jax couldn't help but ask.

"Catching him in his lies." She responded. "Wow." He shook his head chuckling. "I'm gonna go now". She sighed. It was a pretty sad night, she just wanted to sleep.

"I'll walk you." Jax offered. For some reason, he didn't want her out of his sight yet.

"It's okay, what about your brother?" The brunette couldn't help but ask. "Oh Dean? Probably has his tongue stuck inside a girls throat." He sighed.

So that was his name.

"I insist Gianna, there's a bunch of creeps out here." He offered. "You're a stranger. Offer denied." Gianna smirked at him.

"For once I thought I made a friend." Jax pouted.

"You must trance them because I've never made a friend this fast." Gianna replied chuckling at herself. Jax smiled down at her, she kind of matched his energy.

The feeling was nothing compared to anything he's felt before. Something in her has him tranced, besides the looks.

"Does that mean I can call you Gia?" He asked.

"Sure."

They both smiled one last time before strolling down the sidewalk beside each other. The silence was comfortable, Gianna almost enjoyed it. But she was curious about him.

"Tell me about your evil twin." Gianna said. "I'm older by 30 minutes. My mother had a hard time trying to deliver him, he died for 3 minutes and his heart just magically started beating again." He sighed.

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be, there just wasn't enough options and resources back then." He responded casually, immediately regretting it. "You act like you were born 100 years ago." Gianna joked.

"Haha." Jax laughed awkwardly. He mentally cursed himself. Shit. Another slip.

Gianna was almost uncomfortable, surely it wasn't that long.

Right?

Gianna turned, noticing how they were already in front of her house. "That was fast." She laughed looking around.

"Time flies when you're around me."

Gianna rolled her eyes, Jax was such an adorable, cocky guy.

"Thank you for walking me Jax." Gianna smiled at him. "No worries." He replied. He watched as she walked towards her house, he bit his lip before speaking.

"Gianna."

The brunette turned to look at the boy. "You're a very beautiful girl, you deserve better." He smiled at her. She turned away, blushing hard.

"Thank you jax-."Gianna furrowed her eyebrows together in confusion. He was... gone? She looked around, there was no way he could've left that fast without her noticing.

He sure was a weird guy... and for some reason..... she liked that about him.
