Bacon Thief ~ Rufus x Reader ~

Chapter 3

I-I, I AM MEANT TO HAVE 4 LEGS NOT 2 LEGS AND 2 ARMS!? Wait, wait! This is good! That means that Storm was right, it did turn me human! Now I can eat at the table, wear human fur, talk to Amelia, the list goes on! First thing on the list that I want to do is human fur, I take a quick look through Amelia's closet and look for the flowiest and flowery dress I can find when I find this.

I grabbed the dress and went to smell the flowers, but they didn't smell like anything, but I know that some flowers do that sometimes and when they do it's really annoying. I put on the dress and one of Amelia's hats that I tried to chew one time, but it still looks pretty good. She's is still asleep so I go to wake her up like I do every morning, only this time-

"AHHHHHHH!!! W-who the hell are you??!" She screams when she opens her eyes. Does she really not recognise me?

"Don't scream! I-It's me! Sunny? Your dog! I-I'm a human now! It's a long story, but Storm, the cat, gave me this magical necklace, and it turned me into a human! Do you know what that means? I can go to school with you now!" I tell her joyfully, but she doesn't seem happy, she actually seems more confused.

"Amelia? What we're you screaming about? Is something wrong? I'm coming!" Mum said while running up the stairs. Amelia turned to me and ripped the necklace off of my neck, turning me back into a dog.

"Yeah, it's fine. I-I just thought I saw a snake in my room, but it was just clothing hahahahaha..." She makes up with a burst of nervous laughter. Her mum gives her a suspicious look but walks away. I snatch the necklace out of her hands when she isn't looking and turn human again.

"What was that for? That kinda hurt my neck you know..." I tell her when my tummy rumbles "Second thought, can we have breakfast, I think we're having bacon!"I say.

"Wait so let me get this straight, you're my dog..."

"Correct"

"But now you're human..."

"Correct, it's not that hard so can we have breakfast now?"

"Okay... But wait! Should we tell my mum?"

"Nahh, that's boring. But do you know what's not boring? Breakfast!."

"Okay." She rolls her eyes and goes downstairs and comes back with 2 whole plates of food, one for me and one for her, I have some extra bacon so I put it in my pocket for later. She lets me use a pair of her shoes and the hat I chewed with the white ribbon. (Seen in the picture with the dress) She gives me one of her pretty sunflower bag (to match my dress) and a hairbrush to brush my hair with, I go to the mirror and start doing my hair. I think it looks pretty good for my first time doing my hair.

Bag:

"Amelia! Does my hair look good? I think it's pretty good" I ask spanning around in circles really fast so that my hair floats in the air.

"Wait slow down, slow down!" She giggles while grabbing onto my shoulders to stop me. "Oh. My. God. It looks so good! But now we have to figure out how to get you to school without my mum noticing... I got it! Let's do a test." She grabs the Amulet off of me, then puts it back on. "Just what I thought. You still keep your clothes on when you transform. Here's the plan. You go outside as a dog, then I'll let you out the back gate, and we can leave." she says. I do what she says and we start to walk to school. When I see someone on the other side of the road.

"SQUIRREL, SQUIRREL! OH, I'LL GET YOU THIS TIME, I'L-" The boy screams. What!? Where!

"WHAT? WHERE IS HE? I WILL GET YOU LITTLE BASTUR-" I scream back. He goes to look where I am, but I'm already running across the road towards the squirrel. I go to leap for him, but Amelia grabs me just in time.

"Wh-, what was that for!? I was so close to getting him!!" I cried while trying to break free from her grasp.

"I am so sorry, my cousin, she has a real problem with squirrels, she-" She apologizes while finally letting go of me.

"It's fine! My dog- I mean cousin has a problem with them too." he other boy explains back. They both smell very similar, especially the blonde one. I can tell in his face he recognizes my smell too. I'm searching my smell bank in my head when I remember.

"Oh! I remember now! Rufus!" I think aloud and his face lights up.

"Yeah! Uhhh," He knocks his head a bit, "Sunny! Long time no see, guess what! Ya boys a human boy now! Oh wait, I wasn't allowed to tell you that. Umm. You didn't hear what I just told you about the dog stuff... yeah" He explains, feeling a bit guilty at the end.

"That's crazy! The exact same thing happened to me! It was all thanks to this necklace" I hold up the necklace and continue speaking "But don't worry, I have no idea! Wink, Wink" I say while giving him a horrible wink. The other boy asks me something about the necklace and I tell him everything.

"So cats aren't too evil? Or was it just that cat" Rufus asks, I give him a nod to indicate that it was indeed just that cat was nice. We sniff each other a bit while Amelia and the other boy whisper about something. But the Rufus notices something.

"Hey, what's in your pocket? It smells real nic- OH, OH! I-IT'S BACON! AW MAN, CAN I HAVE SOME? CAN I HAVE SOME? " He sits down on the floor and looks behind him, then gives me a thumbs up. I throw some in the air for him and he catches it, then I throw some for me to grab with my mouth, because Amelia taught me not to eat off the floor.

"See? See how I gladly shared it with you, and how you didn't have to tackle me to the ground for it?" I tell him, slightly annoyed. Then the other kid who I learnt is called Manny said,

"You. WHAT? Why did you do that Rufus!?" Manny yells at him. Rufus starts to whimper and apologize and tell him how it was an accident and stuff.

"Hey what's the time," Amelia says checking her watch. "WE HAVE 3 MINUTES TO GET TO CLASS"
