You two got on the train, it took roughly three hours to get to the station which was small and in the middle of nowhere. Trees surrounded you and you could see the lake district's hills. You grinned while Thomas sneered.

While you looked around Thomas called a taxi, finding no signal he quickly walked up the road, following behind him, carrying the bags. When finally the taxi came you pilled into it and Thomas started talking to the driver about how much he did not like the countryside, this rant he had before told you on the train and the taxi driver reacted the same as you did, nodded and hummed.

The driver pulled up to a large house, it was quite dark so you could not see much of the garden. You paid before stepping out with Thomas and looking around in the darkness.

"ugh" Thomas moans, you looked around looking at him, worried something had happened. "why is the country so muddy and dirty?" he asks, looking desperately at you.

"because it is my darling" you reply. "there is no getting around it". You rolled your eyes slightly while Thomas grimaces, trying to rub off the dirt from his shoe to no avail.

"The countryside is awful. I wish I got that promotion" he muttered, annoyed.

"Look, it will be fine Thomas. I'm here. It's a quick sale and we will be back to London" you say reassuring him. "and then you can try and get your job at Harrods back

Thomas sighed at this. "let's get in before it gets any later". he said, grabbing your hand and pulling you along, but suddenly he stops, making you bash into him. "ugh what it on the floor" he asks.

"looks like the wildlife did a number on the crops" you say avoiding the vegetables scattered on the gravel path.

He lets go of your hand and unlocks the door. Walking in the turns on the lights illuminating a rustic house full of vegetables.

He looks at you confused, turning on more lights and finding more vegetables randomly scattered everywhere.

You go the other way. He sits on the sofa and suddenly screams. You turn and are swept off your feet by the large number of animals that appeared and started to escape out of the door. You lay on the floor, dazed and confused as you heard Thomas yelling at the animals before helping you up from the floor.

"These creatures are everywhere (y/n)" he moans. "also I'm pretty sure one of them was wearing a jacket".

You laugh, believing his eyes were playing tricks on him. "Well they are gone now." you say soothingly.

"We should get some sleep" he said, going upstairs to find what seemed like the master bedroom.

You both got into bed, wrapped in each other's arms.

"It will be all okay" you said soothingly, "you don't need to worry about anything but selling the house"

Thomas nodded and you both fell asleep, tired from the journey.
