Chapter 2.) What comes next?

Marinette's P.O.V.

Walking up 114 steps to the palace is NEVER easy (believe me, my legs almost gave out on me), makes the poor tired & very thirsty because of the sun's rays hitting them, or in some cases...It causes death. I didn't want my father tired & dehydrated on his way to the Emperor so, I decided to go for him...Hopefully, he excepts me because My father is the Village Leader & I'm his daughter.

"Long time no see Marinette." I heard to turn & see a close friend of mine. "Kagami! How are u?" I asked her, she was on one of the beams with her left foot on it & was messing around with her sword. "I'm kind of bored here. In case any intruders come here...They'll face with ME!! (Breathes hardly & puts her Sword away) So, why are u here anyways?" "I'm here because I took my father's place to see the Emperor. I didn't want him to suffer from that stupid ball of hot flames." I stated to her "Oh that makes sense, Screw the sun! *Laughs* If u follow the signs in the palace, It'll lead u to him. Yet U're probably gonna get escorted by Alya & Nino for this. Good luck Marinette!" She told me with a warm hug, I hugged her back cause why not?! "Thank u! Hopefully I could see u later."  I told her & we let go of each other. She went back to the beam she was at before I came here as I was walking towards the entrance of the palace to the Agreste Dynasty.

"Ow" felt something hit my head, I look down to see that it was a shoe from someone small. Felt a finger poking me, "Oh honey, that's his his." "Oh, her-AA!! Oh My God! Are u alright?!" Looking up to see Plagg stuck from a flag tied around him & Tikki trying to pull him down. "Here! Let me help u guys." I unwrapped him from the flag & put the 2 down. She helped him up, then wiping the dirt from his face to give him a smooch on the lips. "Thanks Marinette." Tikki said with relief. "Yeah. But, Plagg what happened to u? Why were u stuck up there?" I asked. Tikki looked at Plagg with annoyance, then looked at me. "He's gonna tell u the reason & it's a really stupid reason."  I was confused on that, so I sat on the ground (Close to their level) to ask "& whats that?" He walked towards me & held my hands with a breath. "I threw off the Emperor's Groove..." He stated, I was still confused on that. "His What??" "HIS GROOVE!! THE RHYTHM OF HIS LIFE! A TRADITION HE DOSE ON HIS BIRTHDAY WEEK! I'd be here to visit Alya, Nino, or anyone else I know in the palace. Yet I threw it off, & The Emperor had me thrown out a Window."  He had terror in his voice, Tikki  wrapped her hands around him to calm down. "Oh, well...I'm suppose to see the Emperor for my Dad. I hope he's not like that-...Well-" I said to them as he grabbed my face making me have a fish looking face. "JUST DON'T THROW OFF HIS GROOVE KID!!" "Pfft okay okay, I won't." My face was hurting from his hands being so tight. "Okay Stinky Socks, let her go. Why don't we just grab something to eat for the Hut & head home. Kay?" She told him, I fell to the floor from relief of his grip not on my face. "Hey Tikki, is he gonna be alright?" I asked. "I don't thinks so Marinette, but I hope he'll be alright from that." She had her arm wrapped around his neck as they're leaving the palace, he was shivering from that incident. "Beware of the GrOOOOooVE!" He stated, then I didn't see them after that. Just this whole day is confusing me, but after what I seen happen to Plagg...I don't want that to happen with me when I see the Emperor.

"MARINEEEEETTE!!" I knew that voice, turn to see that it was my BFF Alya running towards me with Nino behind her. "ALYAAAAA!!" I ran to her, & had the biggest warmest hug from her. She puts her hands on my shoulders, "What the Hell girl?! What are u doing here?!" "Alya, I'm here to take my father's place on this meeting with the Emperor...Is he really that Selfish & Mean?" I said, she paused herself for like 3 seconds, then came to realization on what I said. "Oh, u must've saw what happened to Plagg. Yeah, he's a dick but, u'd have to break threw every barrier he has to get to the good, selfless part of him. U still understand that he lost his parents made it into a mental scar to him, right?"  "Well yeah, I do know that-" I told her. "Hey, don't worry." He said as they wrapped their arms around me. "Stick with us, & u should be fine when u talk to him. He'll let u talk to him since u are blood-line to someone were suppose to see."  "NINO!" She flicked the back of his neck, "OWW! Okay, I'm sorry." "But yeah, U'll be fine girl. trust us." She reassured me.

I have no idea whats gonna happen to me, but I should be tough during this time. Well...What comes next?

The "Hut" is what they call home with the other Dwarfs. All of the Kwamis are human Dwarfs in this universe.
