Delusion of trial

Kirigiri POV

I looked around at all my peers. They don't know yet. And when they do, how will they react? " Wow...this is starting to sound like a real trial!" Hifumi said. Everyone nodded and went back to the case.

Makoto POV

We need to determine what was used to kill Sayaka! I looked back at everyone as Sakura started to speak. "So what was used to kill her?" She asked. "There was some kind of sharp object thrust into her stomach... Without a doubt, that is the murder weapon!" Taka said with a shout. "So the killer used some random knife they had on 'em... How could anyone do something like that? That son of a bitch!" Mondo said.

Because the object that was thrust into Sayaka's stomach... It was almost certainly the knife that disappeared from a certain location... Wait a minute!

"So the killer used some random knife they had on 'em... How could anyone do something like that? That son of a bitch!" My eyes widened. "No that's wrong!" In my mind, I thought I heard glass break or something. "No. I do think it was a knife--but not just any knife. I'm almost positive is was a kitchen knife." I said with confidence.

" Huh? A kitchen knife?" he said clearly confused. "After the murder, we discovered that one of the knives from the kitchen was missing." "Which means that knife must be the murder weapon." Sakura added.

" Ohh...yeah, I guess that makes sense. You could sorta see the weapon stickin' out of her stomach... And if you look real close, I could totally see that being a kitchen knife." Mondo said though getting a couple of stares back at him. "Okay, so the murder weapon was a kitchen knife. But where does that get us?" Leon asked turning to me. "I mean, we all know Makoto killed her, right!?"

"That's r-right... Makoto's room was the s-scene of the crime. What more proof do you n-need?" A Lot more cause I didn't do it. "H-Hold on a second! I'm--!"  "Let's draw our conclusions *after* we've presented our arguments. Otherwise, what's the point of the trial?" Kyoko interrupted. Looks like she doesn't believe Im the killer. "Well we can talk all we want, it's not gonna change *that* conclusion-" "Stop talking. I don't think that's true at all. I'm sure if we keep at it, something new will reveal itself." She added to shut him up.

Thank you Kyoko. Yasuhiro perked up. " You really believe that?" Kyoko went silent. As I was about to say something, I feel a strange presence flow through me. It felt... cold. "Makoto, are you okay?" Kyoko asked. "Y-yeah Im fine. Just sorta felt weird then." She looked suspisous but didnt argue.

Mukuro POV

"Why did you pass through him?" I question Sayaka. "I just wanted to see if he can feel me. Like a presence." She said looking at all the other students. Specifically Leon since he was the one that killed her.

I still can't believe it. I'm....dead? My sister, Junko, betrayed me and killed me. I felt despair. Liked she hoped. I just thought she would capture me like we planned (tell me if I got that wrong)

After a long period of time, they finally got suspicion off Makoto. It felt like hours when it was just a few 30 minutes. Let's hope they get it right.
