"AS WE WERE ABOUT TO LEAVE, A LONE TEAR ESCAPED JIMIN'S EYES."
I introduced myself into Lucas's car and he drove to college. The ride seemed quite smooth, with the absence of any abrubt brakes or rough turns.
"I got scared when I didn't see you in college and when I had a free block, I came looking for you and started roaming around the streets like a madman, screaming your name. I guess my strategy did work, afterall." Lucas said.
I let out a small chuckle and admitted guilt.
"Can you drop me off at my house. I don't really feel like going to college."
"Why, are you unwell? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"
I couldn't help but adore his bleeding-heart.
Fangirl Minji has entered the chat.Jimin should take notes.
"No, I just feel like I've had a more than normal day so I just want to rest."
"Oh okay then. Just tell me your address."
It felt foreign since I've never really had to tell my address to anyone as Jimin already knew where I lived and he was the one who would always drive me home. That half-pint always knew what was going on in my head so I never really had to explain myself either. So, this whole ride itself was a new experience for me. And that too, an amiable one. I couldn't help but think about Jimin the whole ride.
Jimin really used to drive me wherever I want and make sure I came home before midnight. He really is like my father. Or was it something more?
"You really look euphoric with that smile on. You should do it more often."
Wonder if his butt hurt when he fell from heaven.
Just one sentence from him and I'm already forgetting the words I learnt in elementary school. The usual 'me' would just say "I know" but the words that left my mouth this time felt so uncommon to me.
"Oh, thank you." I blushed profusely.
Something really doesn't fit right about today.
We finally fetched up at my street and my two-storey house with pink rose vines that decorated the brown, plain roof wasn't far away, either.
"If you don't mind, can I drop you home everyday?"
I was dumbstruck and wanted to pinch myself to make sure this wasn't a dream but I couldn't feel myself. I was just overflowing with emotions. Wait, what will I tell Jimin abou-
"Okay, that's a 'yes' then."
Lucas said, interrupting my thoughts for the nth time today and drove off. I was standing in the vehicle-less road, like as if I was a street light, or a stranded puppy, trying to process everything that just happened. The fact that I had gotten off his car and even got asked such a question by Lucas just wouldn't get through my head. Why was he suddenly acting like this? Did he hit his head somewhere too?
Does that mean Lucas is going to drive me home instead of Jimin? Will he be mad? Should I tell him or just keep it a secret?
"Did your parents finally throw you out of the house?"
Jimin asked, making me realise that I was standing in the middle of the road and I decide to make an entrance into my house with Jimin tagging along.
"Hey Aunty."
"Oh hi, Jimin. Come in, dear. Minji, how was your day?"
I was about to say my day was fine when I noticed something.
"Mom…..those bruises…."
