I stand on the center stage, as people clap their hands, looking at me. Hearing them screaming my name at the top of their lungs causing a grin to form into my lips. Once again, I won a gold medal in the National Taekwondo Competition. This news will surely spread like a wildfire in the university.
I bowed for the last time, waving my right hands to the crowd as I grip the gold medal in the other. My coach gives me a high five then hugs me, a huge smile on his face.
I hope they can be proud of me like him.
"I'm so proud of you, Jungkook" He shouted, tapping my shoulders like a father. "Now, get ready. Reporters are waiting for you outside" I bowed to him and proceed to walk towards the locker room.
I smirked, I need to congratulate myself and need to have fun? I should ask Taehyung if he's having a party this week.
Once, my team and I arrived outside. The flashes of the camera from the reporters welcomed us. I saw some fans with a banner and gifts which my manager took. I stopped walking, facing the reporter for an interview.
"Jeon Jungkook, once again, you're the talk of the town. It's just been half an hour since you won but many articles are made for you and you're also trending in other social media platforms. What are you feeling about this?" She said turning the mic to me.
"Well..." I look directly at the camera. "I'm enjoying it."
