Everyone is panicking... inside.

You may not see it but I know everyone is anxious what could be happening next.

One week has passed... after the urgent declaration of the root of all of these.

"Alonzo, wala pa rin bang follow-up instructions na binigay si Miss V or si Miss Tabby?"

"As of today, there is no further notice as the office is currently closed." Sagot ko sa tanong ng aming presidente sa council.

"Tawagin mo nga si Buendia. I need to check the budget. Baka pag hindi, lalo na't mukhang MIA din ang headmistress, magkagulo na dahil sa wala nang panggastos."

"Noted, Pres."

Dali-dali naman akong pumunta sa computer desk ko at nagcompose ng email to be sent sa treasurer namin.

As a secretary of the council, hindi naman ganito kadalas akong nandito sa office namin. Ngayon lang linggo nato dahil na rin sa parehong rason. Locking down of the academy...

Tamang chikahan lang kami sa office at nag-aantay sa padating na headmistress. Bigla-bigla na lang kase ako nakatanggap ng appointment with the headmistress. Wala ring binigay na agenda para saan ang meeting.

"Hoy Alonzo, wala ba talagang agenda? May meeting pa kasi ako sa org 10 minutes from now eh." Biglang sabi ng PIO namin.

"Para ka namang ewan Guevarra eh. Pinatawag tayo dito lahat ng headmistress kay matik na priority toh. Minsan lang tayo ipatawag, ano ka ba." Sikmat naman ng butihin naming POO.

"As I said, walang agenda na nakalagay. Given na sobrang urgent ng meeting. Today sinend ang email at today rin ang said date ng meeting."

Tumikhim naman ang V-Pres namin para siguro manahimik na lang kaming mag- antay.

Mga ilang minuto pa siguro at narinig kaming mahinang katok sabay bukas ng pintuan ng room.

"Excuse me for intrudement...
Pabati ng panauhin namin. Tumayo naman kaming lahat para magbigay galang.

"Good day, Miss V." Bati ng presidente at ginaya din namin siya.

The lady didn't respond, instead she started talking.

"All of you maybe were awared that this summon is urgent and to tell you frankly, this is no meeting. I'm done with that part. I called you to do what I said in the meeting. Ms. Protea Guevarra, the Public Information Officer, right?"

"Yes, miss" mabilis namang sagot nito.

Okay, the situation is awkwardly confusing. We didn't even get to sit again!

"I want you to ready the AVR. Connect all the airing device in this academy to this room. Ready it for 10 minutes. You are dismissed, now Miss Guevarra."

Halata naman sa mukha ni Protea na nalilito man ay dali-dali naman itong tumalima at lumabas sa silid.

"Mr. Leiour Roman, Peace Order Officer, summon all representatives of all grade levels. I want them six to gather in  their respective builiding lobby and you to check the whole premises."

"Okay po, miss" lumabas na din ito.

"Ms. Allyka Vienna Buendia, the treasure and Ms. Aurora Ventura, the auditor. Check the declared and remaining budget this month. Seperate the funds solely to every grade levels and organizations. Audit it  and ready the presentation. I want it done before this week passed. My secretary, Tabby, will send also the approximatedly budgeted of the facilities. And please, run through also the salary be given this month and the rest will be informed by the council president."

I don't know what is this all about but for sure, the task of Allyka and Aurora is tough. Money and numbers, bruh.

Para namang nasaniban ang dalawa at pumunta sa kanilang opisina na nakakonekta lang dito.

"So we are down to three people."

Umupo ito sa single sofa at nilibot ang paningin sa opisina.

"You did a good job designing the room..." then she looked at me.

"Miss?"
Pero akala ko ako ang kakausapin nya.

"Mr. Paulrick Advendida, president. We will start talking when Mr. Roman and Ms. Guevarra will send the signal that they're done with the task."

Nagkatinginan naman kami ng V-Pres sa sinabi ni Miss V.

"Oh, sit down youngsters."
Umupo din naman kami agad. Kangaaaaalay.

Antahimik ng lahat. Gosh, para lang nung sa movie na A quiet place, mag-ingay ka, tsugi ka.

"Ahm- what would you like to drink?" Binasag ko na. Ka-suffocate kaya.

"No need to bother Miss Hailey Alonzo. Any minute from now, the signals will be sent."

Tumahimik uli ang paligid. At hindi din yun nagtagal.

Static sound ang nag-ingay. Kasabay nang isang boses.

"Sound check. 1.2.3." Tatlong beses iyon nag pa-ulit ulit. At ang boses ay kay Protea.

Nakadinig din kami ng mahinang katok. At bumukas ang front door at sumilip ang ulo ni Leiour.

"Nasa post station na po lahat nang representatives Miss."

"Thank you Mr. Roman. You can also go to your area." And agad din naman umalis ito.

"Okay Miss Vice President,"
Attentive naman kung makinig ang babaeng toh.

"Miss Rhea Beth Auillore, because of the circumstances, I'll be putting you to be the face of all of this. Because I will put Mr. Kain Timothy Velasco to be the brain of this."

Ano ba talaga ang ang nangyayari? Para sa lahat ang ito???

"While Miss Hailey will be the bridge between the council and me and also like the normal she will also assist the both of you."

That sounds not good...

"The academy will undergo a LOCKDOWN."

What?
