It was dark and the world around her was blurry. She didn't know where she was or who the person next to her was. Even though she didn't know the man he kept pulling her along as her tiny legs had trouble keeping up. She was dirty and bruised and the strong man's grip was certainly leaving another mark on her arm. Suddenly the man stopped and she was thrown into a dark room. The door was closed behind her as the little girl looked around the dark and cold room. There was nothing in it, something she immediately noticed even though she couldn't see clearly. There was only a little bit of light shining through the barred window which showed the little girl the moon which was partly covered by clouds. She curled up into a ball in the corner of the room that was the closest to the window. She suddenly felt her arms get wet and realized that she was crying, explaining why the world had looked so blurry as her tears were making it harder to see. She silently weeped as she sat on her own in the cold and dark room.

The world faded to black once again and Lilly realized that what she just had seen was a memory, but from when she didn't know. She hadn't remembered any of these things before, but now that she was shown them again they felt very familiar. Lilly tried to rake her mind for answers but couldn't find any. Instead only more questions came up. Why was she crying, why was she getting pulled along, when was this? Sadly those questions stayed unanswered while the scenery around Lilly changed once again.

She stood in the middle of the woods inside of a small town. People were bustling around her, but the noise that stood out the most was a woman's voice repeating the same word over and over again. She was slowly walking forward away from the noise that was growing closer. Suddenly a hand grabbed her shoulder and a woman appeared before her vision. "What are you doing Emma, you could have gotten lost. Here, hold on to my hand. We're almost home." The woman led her by the hand walking slowly so that the tiny legs of the girl could keep up. The pretty woman had short brown hair and grey eyes. Even though you could see that she was getting older she was still full of live, the sparkle in her eyes as bright as ever. In the distance a house appeared before them. It wasn't a very fancy house, but it looked very nice and welcoming. The array of colors that came from the blooming flowers around it completed the look. When they got closer the door opened and a tall and strongly build man walked out. His blond hair was messy and his grey eyes were looking at the two people walking closer to him. The little girl let go of her mothers hand and ran up to the man. He picked up the little girl easily who started to giggle and call for her dad. The woman who stood besides them was looking dearly at the two with a bright smile lining her beautiful face. "How have my two angels been?" The man asked. "It went really well daddy, we found many yummy things." The little girl said while the mother held up a basket showing the man al the berries, mushrooms, nuts and other things they had found while scavenging the woods. "My, that is indeed a great haul." The man said joyfully while grabbing a berry out of the basket. "Don't eat all of them honey. We wanted to make some jelly out of the berries, but if you eat all of them we won't have enough for it." The woman kindly told the man. "Well if it will be used in your delicious jelly than I think I can resist the temptation." The man smiled and put his arm around the woman's shoulder. Happily and in each other's arms they walked back inside.

Lilly was getting more and more confused. She knew that she was the little girl but who was she with and why did she feel so much love for the two adults. She didn't even recognize them but they looked to be her parents by the way they were acting. Also the fact that she had called the man her dad was a dead giveaway. But what was the most confusing thing was what the woman had called her. She had called her Emma and not Lilly. Was that her real name? Even more questions had been piled on the already big pile of questions she had gained from the previous memory. She desperately hoped she would finally gain some answers as the scenery once more changed around her.
