I've always felt something to Richard Pines . We have been friends since elementary school and we were inseparable . We graduated high school together , go to the same university , we even work at the same fast food restaurant . Everything changed this summer . Richard got a girlfriend , her name was Riley Day . She was the most beautiful woman on campus she was 1 year older then me and Richard ( We're 21 ) . This summer was supposed to be the one we're I would tell him that I have feelings for him but his relationship changed that . In two weeks we're going on a camping trip by ourselves , to celebrate our 15 years of friendship , I'm happy but nervous .
The time passed fast , right before my eyes it was Friday already . I was packing my bags when suddenly my phone started ringing . It was Richard .
"Are you ready " asked Richard .
"I'm almost done packing " I replied .
"Ok but hurry up" he said . "We don't have much time"
I stuffed in my clothes in the bags and hurried out of my dorm room . I looked out the window and there he was in his Audi . His eyes locked with mine and I reminded myself that I need to tell him my feelings . I got into the car and got out the Red Bull .
"Can I have one to ? " he asked .
"Sure " I replied . "We should go to the gas station cause if we run out of gas we're screwed"
"Yeah good idea " he replied " Can I ask you something Isabell ? "
"Sure " I said .
"Do you think Rileys cheating on me ? " he said .
"I don't think so but what makes you think that ? " I said .
"I have a weird feeling about her friend Shawn " he replied .
"He is pretty suspicious " I replied .
We ended our conversation there and we started talking about what activities were gonna do there . We ended on kayaking , hiking and making s'mores . After 4 hours of driving and hearing Richards funny jokes , we arrived . I looked around , it was beautiful . Richard parked the car and we got out the tents . It took Richard a few minutes to set his up but I on the other hand was struggling . He noticed that I couldn't figure it out so he helped me . After that we got out the cooler and started talking .
