I noticed that after a while of talking something was on his mind . His girlfriend was probably the reason why .
"You okay ? " I asked while taking out the sandwiches .
"Yeah , just thinking about some things " . Richard said . "Enough about me , what do you wanna do ? "
"How about we go swim in the lake ? " I replied .
"Okay"
I changed into my bathing suit and packed up all my stuff . He was ready to so we started walking . I made up a plan ,while we were swimming I would tell him my feelings . A few minutes passed and we got there . Richard jumped into the lake and I did the same . We were having a great time splashing and dunking each other . I decided to tell him what I feel .
"Richard I have to tell you a very important thing " I said with a nervous voice .
"Yeah , go ahead " he replied .
"I've liked you since first grade and I still do " I said .
"Isabell , I don't like you that way , I love Riley " He said .
"Oh well , I should go " I replied .
"ISABELL wait " Richard said .
Tears were streaming down my face , I felt horrible . This was all a mistake , why did I tell him . I started running back to our tents . I packed up my things . I saw Richard , running after me but I walked faster . There was a woman getting into her car , so I asked her if I could hitch a ride with her . She agreed to help me but I would have to explain what had happened . Then I heard yelling . PLEASE , GET OUT OF THE CAR ISABELL , WE CAN SOLVE THIS . Richard was standing next to my window , he opened the door and pulled me out of the car . WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN A STRANGERS CAR ITS DANGEROUS . PLEASE ISABELL , GET OUT .
