Imagine this with his hair in the Run MV
That hair needs to make a comeback idk //

Nervously, I walk to the kitchen as I hear my mom's voice telling me to hurry up. As i enter the kitchen, I notice her look me up and down, and then nod her head in approval at my appearance.

Groaning, I roll my eyes at her and tell her to stop looking at me like that
"Mom stop it, we're only having guests over, not the royal family".

"Shh I'm just happy you didn't change into one of your hoodies" she replies laughing

Shaking my head, I turn at the sound of the doorbell and head down the hallway, my mother right behind me.

Suddenly my hands get clammy, and I pray to God that they don't feel it when I shake their hands. Oh for God's sake, why am i even nervous?, it's just some old couple!

Calming down my introverted thoughts, I watch as my dad opens the door and greets them with a smile. They exchange handshakes and a few words, offering to take their coats.

"Let me take your coat for you" my dad grins

"Thank you, you must be Mr Min, it's a pleasure to meet you!" the old couple laugh and hand my dad their coats

My parents seem to be getting on just fine with people they've never met before. Pft could never be me.

Finally they stop their chatter and all eyes fall upon me. Oh god the awkwardness.

"Oh!, let me introduce my daughter Rosa, she tends to stay in her room painting most of the time even though she's 17 and should be socialising more, so she may seem a bit shy at first" my mother says enthusiastically

My cheeks warm up and I'm pretty sure I look like a tomato. Why did she have to mention that I was basically an introvert??

Giving my mom a side glare, and trying to appear nonchalant at her words, I shake Mr and Mrs Kims hands, surprised when Mrs Kim pulls me into a hug. She smells of apple and cinnamon which are interestingly a great combo.

Pulling back, I give her a smile as she says
"Oh my, you have the most beautiful eyes!"

My cheeks tint again.

"Thank you" I squeak out.

Just then, I hear a cough from behind Mr and Mrs Kim, and I get curious when I see a boy, around my age emerge from the back.

I suddenly recall my mom telling me that they were a family of three just like us. I had totally forgotten that it wouldn't just be the old couple dining with us tonight!

Clad in a black hoodie, ripped jeans and red converse, he stands there with an aura of mystery, and I for some reason feel my hands clam up once again.

His face is covered with his black hood, but I can still see his dark locks peeking beneath it.

Mrs Kim smiles and turns around to tell us that she has a son who is also 17, almost 18.

"This is my son Taehyung, we call him Tae for short, and he tends to always wear these dark clothes which i really can't understand when there are so many other colours one could wear!" she tells us laughing

"I think you two will get on just fine since you're the same age" she tells us oblivious to the fact that my anxiety is rising for meeting yet another new person today.

My parents shake hands with Taehyung, and I watch as he removes his hood. My eyes widen at the green, viridian colour he has dyed at the tips of his hair. I'm not going to lie and say it's weird, because it looks unique and suits his face.

He turns around to shake my hand and my breath hitches when I see his face; those gently slanted eyes which hold perfect ochre swirls, those pink cheeks and those lips that were pulled into a smile for my parents which have suddenly turned straight.

I glance up at his 5'10 frame, my 5'5 self having to lift my head. He looks at me blankly. Okay then.

Geez what's wrong with him?

We shake hands for about a millisecond before he removes his hand as if i were some sort of disease.

Great, what an arsehole.

"Let's go inside! You must be cold standing here in the hallway" my mom ushers everyone in to the dining room.

I instantly smell the aroma of roast dinner, and my stomach growls. Loudly. Taehyung is behind me and he obviously heard that since he starts to snicker.

This, my friends, is pure embarrassment.

I carry on walking to the dining room, trying to avoid any more embarrassment, and slide into my seat at the table.

Our dining table is average sized, with enough seats to fit us all. There are 4 seats around the middle, and 2 seats at the ends, where my mom and dad sit.

Unfortunately, I realise that my seat is opposite Taehyung.
God, I want this night to end already.
