Mr. Tan smiled and motioned his left hand in front of me. "Our new friend here is Elizelle, she's very excited to get to know each one of you and bond while you do your best in you classes." he turned to me and asked, "Elizelle, please give them an idea about you." he smiled.

I followed him instantly, but as soon as my eyes started to roam to the class and I try compose my speech, I unexpectedly locked eyes with someone — I was stunned.

Pulled by a great gravity and of without power to resist. I couldn't look anywhere, turned deaf. It's as if everything else was blurred and buried in the background. All in slow motion.

What captivating eyes.. I whispered to myself, hoping I didn't said it out loud for everyone else to hear.

I was not able to recall how long, but to me it felt like an hour of time has passed. Those eyes began to form wrinkles on its corners and they seemed to glitter. wait... what.. now it's about to do something..

He winked at me.

A suave smile snapped me off back to my sanity.

I am wide-eyed, I gasped as an unknown feeling struck me unguarded. Something in my chest began to beat violently and loud, inflicting almost a mimicry of pain.

What is this?

For everyone else in the room I appear to be observing or spacing out but I'm in a very unstable state, panicking from a mere eye contact.
who asked for that killer wink anyway?! who's this person? —

"Hi!"

My world paused, with wide cocky smile from the owner of those wild eyes sparked great heat of irritation within me.

In a second, I was out of words to describe this embarrassment. I gathered all my strength and tried to pull myself back.

"Hello everyone! I'm Elizelle but you can call me Eli instead, I've been transferring from one school to another that's why I get confused in phases of class topics.. I really hope you can help me with that adjustment. I'm willing to help you with what I can, I'm very friendly and I wish to get along with you. Thank you." — there I said it! It's just like acting. Phew~

I think I left them with quite a good impression.

"Elizelle, there's an empty seat in the middle of the last row, you may take it. My table is at the back as well so if you're still too shy to approach your classmates yet, don't hesitate to ask for my help."

"Y-yes, Sir."

Jinx! I have to walk past that person to get to my seat.

"Alright then, I will check the attendance before we begin our lesson for today."

I want to pass out. "WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY!" I gripped tighter on my backpack's shoulder pad, walking to the right isle corner of the classroom near the glass window to get to the last row.

A foot? I stared at it for a second.

I searched to whom was it, it was him!

what's with this boy? my nerves are about to snap, is he trying to bully me?!

His face that carries soft of innocence is inevitable to notice. Clean hair cut, thick symmetrical brows, long lashes, round eyes, pointed nose and beautifully curved lips. — what am I saying?! *puke*
