Chapter 54

The crowd were feel uncomfortable at Yukino who seems never care about the life that she make. Lucy just silent looking at Yukino. Yukino opens the battle by drawing a Celestial Spirit Gate Key and summoning Pisces, the Spirit appearing as two gigantic fish which circle the arena and awe the crowd whilst Arcadios and Darton express their excitement at seeing a second Celestial Spirit Mage in the competition. At Yukino's command, Pisces launches itself directly at Kagura, though the Mermaid Heel Mage manages to continuously dodge it through a number of impressive leaps and flips. Seeing Kagura use her swiftness to her advantage, Yukino performs a multiple summon, calling forth Libra of the Twelve Zodiac, much to the crowds pleasure. Libra is soon commanded to use her gravity altering abilities to keep Kagura pressed to the ground, and with her opponent kept in place, Yukino once again sends Pisces in for the attack. However, before Pisces can land its blow, Kagura manages to break out of Libra's grip and jump into the air, causing Yukino to change her tactic and command Libra to change the gravity around Kagura, forcing the woman to smash into one of the statues of the Domus Flau, once again pinned. With Team Sabertooth thinking the battle will soon be over, Yukino sends in Pisces yet again, though Kagura suddenly halts both of the Spirits, turning Libra's Magic against them both and returning the favor by pressing them both into the ground. Yukino finally realizes that Kagura can also perform gravity-manipulating Magic, and sends the now overpowered Libra and Pisces back to the Spirit World. Yukino just tch in annoyance.

With two of her Spirits surpassed, Yukino states that she is being forced to open the 13th gate, this shocking Lucy, who expresses her disbelief from the stands. When Wendy's questions what Yukino is talking about, Lucy explains that she knows of a rumor that there is a 13th Zodiac Spirit separate from the known twelve, but that she has never seen the Spirit before and doubted its actual existence. On the field, Yukino draws a key and begins to summon the Spirit, the skies turning dark as she states that Kagura is now out of luck. Kagura, however, seemingly undaunted by every word Yukino has spoken, grips her sword and begins to run towards the Sabertooth Mage, stating that she never relies on luck, rather her own choices, to find her future. Yukino then completes her summoning, calling forth the gigantic metal-plated snake Ophiuchus, who shocks the crowd. Lucy had a little impress to see that she manage to doing that.

Kagura though, simply slices her way through the Spirit in no time at all, amazing the crowd even further when she appears in Yukino's face in an instant and strikes her down, but she make a little mistake. Yukino had summon her fire sword and crush on Kagura's sword. Yukino had kick Kagura and land on the ground. She had strike at Kagura with a fire sword. "Fire Sword : Volcano!" Said Yukino when she point at Kagura. Kagura's eyes were widen quickly avoid her attack but her shoulder get hit a little.

Kagura saw a little burn on her shoulder and look at Yukino. "So, you're a sword mage too? I see. Well, let's fight." Said Kagura when they fight each other. Yukino had avoid Kagura who attempt to her merciless without stopping her attack but she attack Kagura back and change her sword again using a lightning sword. "Lightning sword : Dynamic!" Said Yukino when a lightning hitting on Kagura make her shout in pain. She was laying down on the ground with a heavily breath but still she stand up make Yukino feel annoyed.

"Why don't you just give up, Kagura? You won't feel pain anymore." Said Yukino with a heartless tone. Kagura was glare at Yukino and look slightly at Lucy. She can see a difference between Lucy and Yukino when they fight. Kagura then look at Yukino with hard face. "Why should I? It's not like I will lose yet. You're such arrogant mage. You're different than Lucy. She's more stronger than you. I have seen her strongest magic. You will never defeat her even you get a chance. Lucy not like you because she care more about her friends and family. That's how she get stronger mage. What a shame of you, Yukino." Said Kagura with a little smirk. She was mocking Yukino for being arrogant toward the other mage.

Yukino was gritted her teeth angrily. She was going to attack her when the time had alarmed. Mato had said that the both guild get tied make Yukino feel unsatisfied not crushing on Kagura. Yukino was looking harder at Kagura before leaving the arena. The crowd just cheered not caring the tense aura that surrounding them. Kagura had walked toward her teammates with a calm face again. Yukino who walked toward her teammates just pass over them looking not happy. Sting and the other were silent knowing that Yukino angry over her battle that been tied. Yukino had punched the wall with anger face. "Damn her. How dare she mock me about Lucy's strength that different than me? I will show her who the strongest mage!" Said Yukino with a hard tone.

Gray and Natsu were silent don't know what to react of that. Erza was looking at Kagura feeling that she might know her. Wendy doesn't know what to say anyway and worry looking at Lucy. Lucy was blank looking at Yukino and then she leave her team. She was feeling angry when she saw how Yukino try to do at Kagura. She was clench her hand in anger. She know that Yukino was too much because of her arrogance.

"That Yukino... She will know what her mistake for doing like that. Just wait and see, Yukino. I will show you what a true strength." - Lucy
