I'll Be Yours 'Til the End

Mina woke up without Dahyun on her side, which is very unusual since Mina is usually the one who gets up earlier between the two.

"Dahyun?" She called with a hoarse voice, spreading her body on the bed as she stretches her bones.

"Dahyun baby!?" She called again, louder this time when no one answered her first call. "What is her agenda with this early morning?" She muttered to herself.

She sits on their bed as she fixes her messy hair with half-lidded eyes. She turns at the clock beside her and was shocked when it was only 6:30 in the morning but Dahyun is already up, she usually wakes up at ten.

She wears her slippers and stood up thinking that Dahyun might be at their kitchen and preparing for their breakfast. Dahyun is really that sweet when she felt like it, she would sacrifice her sleep just to make Mina smile and that's one of the reasons why Mina falls even harder with her.

"She's really stub-- Oh my gosh!" Mina screamed, she felt her heart thump really hard and loud when she saw droplets of blood on the floor. She followed the traces of blood and every step she takes, the spots of blood keeps on getting bigger, it leads her to their bathroom, and for the first time in her life, she feels scared twisting the knob and entering the bathroom, she's scared what scene would welcome her.

With shaky hands, she held the knob that was also stained with blood and slowly twisted it. Like in horror, the door slowly opened, revealing a pool of blood and... a Dahyun lying on the floor, clothes covered with blood.

She gasps, placing both of her hands on her mouth, "D-Dahyun!" She cried out.

She crawled towards her, cupped her upper body as she shakes her, "Baby, wake up! Dahyun!" She cried, tapping the younger's cheeks but to no avail.

She immediately crawled closer to her nose, checking if she still breathing, she checks her wrist as well, and thankfully, she still has a pulse. But she stopped when she saw huge patches of bruises on her arm, she raises Dahyun's clothes and saw another big bruise on her stomach.

Mina wipes her tears with her clothes as she put Dahyun down again, "Hold a little longer, Dubs. You just can't leave me like this."

She runs towards her room to get her phone and immediately called for her friend, Sana.

"Hmm. Mi--"

"S-Sana! He-help me.. D-Dahyun... She..she's--" Mina couldn't form a coherent sentence because of her sobs.

"Mina-chan? What happened? Momo, wake up! Calm down first, Mina. Breathe in, breathe out." Sana instructed which Mina slowly obliged. "What is it?"

Mina cried out again, "Help me! Dahyun! She's--she's bleeding. She has big bruises on her body and I don't know since when she had those. I-I... Help me, Sana!" She hastily replied, running back to Dahyun.

"What!? Oh my gosh, we'll be there in ten minutes. Carry her and wait for us outside of your house. Momo, hurry!" Mina heard them running so she ended the call and immediately carry Dahyun in bridal style. Their house is just a few blocks from them so they will be there sooner.

Mina felt weak by seeing her girlfriend in that state, her jolly, ray of sunshine, naughty girlfriend was gone and replaced by a paler, lifeless, and barely breathing girl, but she needs to be strong for both of them. She needs to be strong for her.

She heard a honk and saw Sana's car approaching them, Momo get off of the car and helped her carry Dahyun in. Sana drives fastly towards the nearest hospital while Momo tried to calm Mina and held her hand tightly.
