Time .

Part Three .

I wanted last night to be a dream . A big dream . But it wasn't . It was the worst night of my life . I wish I could take it all back . Everything . The arguing , letting her go .

" Mark , look I'm so ..."
" Witney , it's okay . It's okay . You moved on , I understand . You don't have to be sorry . " I replied . I was lying through my teeth . I didn't understand . I didn't .
" I have something planned ," I said , smiling ," I only have three days with you before I leave . "
I could tell Witney was hesitant ," Mark , I don't know ..."
" Oh come on , we're friends . Just friends . It'll be fine "
I had the whole day planned . It was simple , yet fun . I knew Witney would love it .

" Come on Ballas , I knew you have more balance than that ."
I decided to take her ice skating . I knew she had always wanted to do that . She was from Utah . But now in New York , this was my chance .
" I got it . I got it ." I replied . I really didn't . I was flailing and falling everywhere . She was better than I was . She was a true pro at everything .
" Not bad , Wit ." I said , watching her skate . She was like a bird . Soaring , graceful , beautiful .
Just as I said that , she tripped . I caught her and repositioned her , my hands on her hips . We stayed in that position for a while before she pulled away .
" Umm , are you hungry . Because I know I am ."

" Today was fun . You sure do know how to have a good day ."
We walked to my apartment room . She had fun , and that's all I wanted . I loved seeing her happy , seeing her have fun .
" I had fun too . Today was refreshing . Good ." I replied , unlocking the door .
I walked in and left the door open for Witney , but she didn't come in . I could tell she was uncomfortable .
" Witney , you can come in , you know ?"
" Mark . You know I can't ."
" Come on ," I said , pulling her in ," It'll be fine ."
I pulled her in , laughing . She laughed along . We then came to a stop . Our eyes met . I was memorized by her beauty . By her generosity . By her lovingness . I took a deep breath and did the unthinkable .
My lips crashed into hers . She didn't pull away . She instead pulled me closer to her , deepening the kiss . I pushed her against the wall . Her fingers running through my hair . My hands feeling through her body . She was perfect . Perfect in every way .
We crashed onto the bed , for I had knew how this night would end . It was everything . It was all I wanted . All I ever wanted .
