Part Four .

The next thing I knew , I awoke to an empty bed . I knew . I knew from then , she was the one . I wanted to call her mine . I wanted her to have my ring on her finger . Her beauty . Her geniality . She was amazing . Wonderful . Perfect . But did I make a mistake ? Did I go too far this time ?
I quickly got dressed and sprinted to the lobby , looking for her . When I got outside I saw her .
" Witney ," I said , turning her around . When I did I saw the tears .
" Mark , I can't do it anymore . I can't do this anymore . Trying to tell myself it's okay . Lying to myself . It's wrong ."
" What ..." Was all I could say before she interrupted me .
" Mark , I just can't . It isn't fair to you . To Jason . To me . I keep telling myself that's it's alright . It's okay to come back to you but it isn't . You deserve better than that ."
I grabbed her arm , stopping her from leaving . She sighed , still crying .
" I know I shouldn't have even said yes ."
" No , you're wrong . Saying yes let me know ," I said ," it let me know that I'm still crazy about you . That I still love you . I still care about you . "
Tears were streaming down Witney's face .
" Mark , you can't say that . I'm engaged ."
" Then why did you say yes , Witney ?" I asked , forcefully . I didn't want to , but I just had to say it ," Why did you say yes ? Why did you come ? I know why . Because you wanted to . You know deep down , in your heart . You know that you shouldn't have quoted dance . You know that you shouldn't have said yes to Jason . You know that you can't feel the same anymore ."
I took a deep sigh . I let Witney free . She was sobbing .
" How could you say that ?"

I sat in my room in a puddle of tears . What did I do ? I had broken Witney's heart , along with mine . She was down to earth , kind , loyal . I had crushed her . I could never , ever forgive myself . Why did I say that ? Why ?
' Knock , knock .' Who was that ? I wasn't expecting anyone . I walked to open the door . The most surprising , unexpected person was there ...

Okay . This is really BAD ! Like I think I might redo this part . But can I have feedback ? IS THIS GOOD ? IS THOS BAD ? Bc I don't think it's good and I don't want to continue with this if you guys don't like this .
