Decided to make this into a crossover with some good Sammy x Norman mixed in.

It's dark when Sammy wakes up. He'd fallen asleep at his desk again, struggling to write out the perfect song for the next Bendy cartoon. However, now he didn't feel his familiar office floor, or chair, or desk. In fact, he didn't feel anything familiar at all. He felt a wall and a floor, sure, but not the usual creaky yellow wood of the studio. No, this floor was smooth tile, and colored like a chess board. White, black, white, black. The walls were grey, with a single long stripe painted across the middle of that similar checkerboard pattern. Streamers of colorful stars hung from the ceiling and papers depicting childish drawings of animals were hung up for display on the grey walls.

Sammy slowly began to process that he was in some sort of restaurant. There was a show stage and tables and a counter full of plushies and other toys. He thought to the Heavenly Toys department, but grew more confused. Everything was so colorful, there was all sorts of technology he'd never seen before. Was he in the future? How long was he asleep? Did Joey do something stupid again? Probably.

He groans and slowly stands, catching his balance against the wall and looking around. That's when he made eye contact with a strange figure across the large room, making him tense.

The figure looked almost like a ghost, it being completely translucent. It was green and purple and looked like a rabbit. Not a real one necessarily, one more similar to the way Henry would draw one. One that looked human, but also a rabbit. Despite looking like a rabbit, it had a long creepy grin like a fox as it stood frozen in place, it's hand outstretched towards the music director. It made a motion with its index finger, curling and uncurling it over and over almost to try and convince Sammy to walk towards it. Sammy remained frozen in place with fear, giving a slow gulp as he stared at the thing worriedly. It felt almost like his feet were glued to the floor, he couldn't move. He stayed in place as suddenly, the rabbit began to move.

Closer.

Closer.

Closer.

"AH!" Sammy screamed out as he sat up in bed, trembling.

He whimpered as he slowly took in his surroundings. He wasn't in the old studio. He wasn't in a strange restaurant. He was home. He glanced over at his calendar and clock.

July 23rd, 1983. 11:00pm.

He gave a relaxed sigh when he noticed that the television was still on, having been flipped onto the news. He felt a rustle in his bed, making him flinch and glance over. Oh, just Norman, his husband, stirring awake and sitting up.

"S...Sam? You okay?" Norman scooted close to the music director, hugging him from behind. "Nightmares bout Joey again?"

Sammy leaned back against the larger man's chest, giving a tired sigh. "No... it was about something else... a... a rabbit?" Just as he states this, he hears someone on the news team over the television.

"...here we have William Afton, co-owner of Fredbear's Family Diner and father to the child in question. Mr. Afton, why have you decided not to follow your child to the hospital?" The lady asks, holding her microphone out to a figure close by.

Sammy tenses when he turns around. It's the rabbit, now yellow instead of green. It wasn't a rabbit at all, but a brunette man in a costume, who now looks surprisingly calm despite the current news story. Sammy looks down at the title.

"Child Bitten By Fredbear at Local Pizzeria".

Sammy visibly flinched, causing Norman to give him a worried look.

"Somethin' wrong, dear?"

"Th-That... th-that's him..." Sammy points at the screen with a shaky finger.

"Th-The rabbit..."

Norman looks up at the television, holding Sammy a little closer than before.

"I've heard plenty rumors bout that Mistah Afton and his little pizza joint... I betcha he's got somethin' up his sleeves he don't want nobody seein'. However, I doubt it's got a thing to do with you... so yah don't gotta worry bout that rabbit, okay?" He gives a warm smile.

Sammy slowly nods. "O-Okay..." he turns off the television and cuddles close to his husband, falling back asleep.
