Creepy high

The blood queen

When I awoke I was laying in a bed, it was so soft that I wasn't sure I wanted to get up, but I had to. I looked around the room, there on seven other beds where the rest of the gang, they had not a single scratch on them, the floors where marble and the walls were beige, it looked fancier then my old place, but somthing made my stoumache feel eiry and hollow, we had been in the catacombs when we were attacked, but out the widow could see daylight, somthing just wasn't adding up.

The others began to wake up and had the same confusion I did, but right about that second the door swung open and a lady as well as two of the blood creature from earlier entered.

" welcome all, ma-lady sent me to fetch you for dinner, you are our guests after all."

As much as we wanted to continue searching for the river of time, we were pretty hungry, And we did lose our packed food during the fight.

We walked down the hallway to a huge set of double doors leading into a grand dinning hall with a feast worthy of a king, so obviously we dug in.

The doors were opened by two of the blood creatures as she entered, her skin was milky white, and her eyes a wild shade of red, and dressed in a flowing gown that you would expect royalty to wear in the twenty-th centery. She walk to the table, not a single flaw in her steps, and in heels made of ruby, everyone was watching her as she took her seat.

" welcome my creepy brothers and sisters, I am scarletta Vladimir de Moira fang, but you may call me lady scarlet, I really am sorry if my pets caused you any trouble, they do get rather excitable when new people come around."

After dinner was through with we ha decided that it was time to go, when lady scarlet halted us, as my guests whome I may not see again for a long time I have planes a ball to celebrate our meeting.

We didn't want to be rude so we decided to stay, she had even gotten lily to find us up some clothes for the ball.

It was eight o'clock when I walked down the stairs, there was a huge ballroom and it was full of people, as well as most of my friends all we were missing was.......

Down the stairs came melody, her usual style of dressing was now gone and now she came down those stairs like a new person, her dress was white and blue, it even ha a music not over her heart, and her hair wich was usually always up in ponytails was now let down on the sides and the rest pull up and curled in a beautiful Feathered hairpiece, she was down the stairs showing off her shoes, ironfist pumps with laced top and slight fringe.

I hadn't realized I was zoned in on her until someone tripped over my tounge, metaphorically of course.

I went to step towards her an I herd a small splash, I even felt the cold of water, but when I looked down, nothing there but the step, so I shrugged it off and went to the dance floor to "accidentally" end up spending time with melody. Time seemed to stand still around us as we danced, at first I thought it was just the rush of the moment, then I realized it literally stood still, The faster I moved the more the environment shifted, but it didn't last long, because the music was slow as Christmas.

" did you see that?" " yeah."

We look over to the others and I was going to say somthing but a few things didn't add up, first not only was the music slowed down, but so were the other, and that's when I saw it, the blood creatures guarding the doors looks like the guests dancing, I thought it was just my imagination until felyras colors in her dress and the colors in her hair and eye faded as a blood creature formed next to her.

Me and melody slowly make our way to the survents quarters to hide. I peeked out through the door to see that lady scarlet was dancing, but seemed unphased. "She has to be behind this, come on, she starting to walk to the kitchen, let's corner her."

Lady scarlet was waiting in the hall and looked upset. "Are you okay?"

"You too, you are still you?"

"Why wouldn't we be?"

"My party guests, they always end up as just we'll that."

She pointed to the blood creature standing in the doorway down the hall.

"Wait you didn't do this,"

"No it is this place, only my kind can survive."

"Wait but it didn't get us."

"When you were dancing, did you follow the same beat as everyone else."

"No we didn't."

"So how do we save them."

"You can't."

"What if we get ten away from here?"

"I haven't found a way back, so I don't know how."

Melody had been quiet until then but chimed in, "maybe I can save them."

"I can play my music, it's not slow and formal like the kind here, it might snap then out of it."

"It's worth a shot."

Melody has some really cool powers, she usually djs the school dances because she can basically create music and sound with nothing more then thoughts, of course she likes to show off and do the motions of the instruments, but when she djs it's somthing different, a turntable and scratch plate form out of the energy around her, and her headphones transform into giant speaker towers, don't stand too close, I've seen them propel someone through a wall on accident.

We used the music but nothing happened, at least at first, melody and me began dancing again, she wanted me to help her charge up, when melody dances she builds up this power that can completely liven up a crowd and draw thief attention, we are hoping it livens up the deadbeat husks.

She started glowing as almost neon like lights began to float out from her, one of them collided with Felyra, her color and spirit were restored, and she hit the ground instantly, it was the same for the rest of the guests.

But as they were freed, the blood creatures grew weak.

"I don't know how ill ever be able to feed my pets now."

That's when we introduced her to cheese cake, and true she was the queen of blood, but even she loved her cheesecake.

The besutiful Scenary outside faded into that of the catacombs.

"Hey guys check it out, we are really close to the right area, it is just a few hours away."

We packed our stuff and prepared to leave, and on our way out we said good bye to lady scarlet and lily, and lily seemed slightly different, she wasn't as uppedy as I rembered, and now she was standing around lady scarlet, this time not as a caretaker, but she looked at her with eyes as if lady scarlet had been dinner. As we got out of the door it dawned on my that lily wasn't at the ball, and always seemed to be followed by the creatures, but just as that thought entered my mind the castle we had just been in vanished to reveal the abandoned creepy city from before, I just hope I'm being paranoid and not correct about her.
