When The Temperature Increased Too Much In a Park

A week had gone by, and all I did appart from shopping for more clothes and visiting museums was make friends with random teenagers I met every once in a while. My intentions weren't based in getting friends exactly... I was just plotting for the future, where, if we were lucky enough, they'd meet 5sos and get me an autograph or something... It wasn't selfish at all... Well, maybe a little bit, but come on! The chances that would happen were one in a million!

So today I was visiting some Park that kept animals and plants. It was more like a Zoo, but it was described as a park or something, I don't really know.

Well, I had arrived there with a group of tourists, and after going to the huge garden with pretty cool flowers and trees, we were dismissed with the condition of returning to some meeting point at 5pm (that was 4 hours for us to wander around).

I decided I'd go check the platypus and the red panda cub first, since that was the nearest stuff according to the map I was given when entering the park.

Well, needless to say, the platypus and red panda were too cute and I took too many photos of them. What surprised me was that you could actually enter the living quarters which contained the animals. Of course you had to pay an extra amount of money to get a pass, and the dangerous animals like the big felines, lynxes, bears, and others weren't included in the cage visiting thing, but all the other animals were included. This was like the most awesome thing I ever saw, though I only brought enough money with me to enter a cage and buy stuff from the gift shop.

So I decided I'd take a quick look at most of the animals then decide what living quarters I shall go in. And I went and saw the polar bear, foxes, wolves and other unavailable animals first to take time and take a lot of pictures. Then I started with the animals I could join.

After the koala and emus, I though checking out the kangaroo would be cool. Little did I know there was an enormous surprise waiting for me there.

There were a lot of people gathered around the kangaroos' den, and since I was a little bit too curious, I joined the croud.

There were three really tall guy with the kangaroos. I instantly knew who they were. I mean, who wouldn't recognize their favorite band members? And red Hair sort of stands out.

Yep, IT WAS 3/4 OF 5SOS FOOLING AROUND WITH A BUNCH OF KANGAROOS!!

I instantly freaked out. This wasn't happening, it couldn't be. I blinked several times and they were still there. So I decided to capture all of it in pictures, even if those were the last pictures I could ever take, because it would be completetly worth it.

So, Ashton was following a kangaroo and shouting in a high pitched tone "Hey! Come here, little buddy, come on" to a kangaroo that was about as tall as he was when standing in two feet. And then there were Calum and Michael trying to keep up with Ashton to get it all recorded, also shouting at both Ashton and the kangaroo to slow down.

It seemed to go on forever, and I wasn't even going to complain, because I was just so thankful it all happened. People did not feel the same though. The crowd started thinning until just one tall, broad shouldered blond was left leaning over the fence between the kangaroos and us.

"They're such idiots" he said mostly to himself, "right?" Wait, WHAT? WAS HE TALKING TO ME??!!!

"Uh..." I looked around to find no one around me.

"Yeah, I was asking you" he said with a small laugh. I was about to pass out.

"Actually, they are cute and funny" I replied nervously.

"Huh" he buffed, "if only you knew them..."

Okay, this was my chance, and I had to take it, not ruin it. "Are you..."

"The famous Luke Hemmings? Yup" he said smiling and lowering his sunglasses to reveal his beautiful light blue eyes. "Why?"

"I... I'm just asking..." I said.

"Are you a fan or something? Do you want a selfie, autograph...? Here, have my beanie" he handed me his beanie and I swear my heart stopped for a moment. Act cool, Rachel, act cool.

"Well... it's not like I need to be a fan to know who you are" I said, doing my best to sound casual, "you're like... all over... everywhere!" And I just ruined it all. I tried handing his beanie back, but he didn't accept it, he was too busy checking his hair, I guess. I couldn't complain, not at all.

"So, are you a fan or not?" He asked finally taking his sunglasses off.

"So, what are you guys doing here?" I changed subject quickly. Maybe if I acted all mysterious and all, I could talk with him longer.

"Well, we got some days off to spend with family and friends here, and we decided that being two weeks appart was too much already, so we decided to hang out here. As you might see, it did not turn out good" he stopped for a second and then added, "Hey! You never answered my question!"

"And I won't either" I said raisimg both eyebrows. "You seemed bored here, why didn't you go in with them?" I asked trying my best not to throw myself into him amd telling how much I loved him and all the things I was thinking.

"I don't really know" he said and just stayed there, probably waiting for me to answer or something. And I just stared at him.

"What" he said after some time. I snapped out of my thoughts and realized I've been staring at him all the time.

"I just... uh..." I messed up. Great! Could soething else go wrong?

He gave me this too-cute-to-handle suspicious look and my heart melted, but I stayed ice cold on the outside.

"Actually, I'm so bored..." he said. "It'd be cool if there were penguins in here..."

"Actually there are" I said. "Haven't you checked the map or something?" I took out my map and showed him where the penguins were. He seemed to know where they were, though, and now it was my turn to be suspicious about him. Still I loved him too much.

"Why don't we go and check them out?" He asked. HOLY SH*T I COULD BARELY HOLD MY INNER FANGIRL INSIDE ANYMORE. But I just shrugged.

"Why don't you just go alone?" I said eyeing at Ashton who was now being chased by a kangaroo while Cal and Mikey still tried getting it recorded.

"Because I want to show you something" he simply said bitting his lower lip. And I died right there because I couldn't take it anymore. But I held myself together and accepted to go with Luke. I'd never say no anyways...
