/Noahs POV/

"Wonder where she is," Vic says, meaning Delilah.

" Yeah, you said shed be over within a hour or so." Mike chimes in, glancing at me for a second before taking a sip of his beer and scrolling on his phone. I just shrug and click the lock button on my phone. Still blank. I sigh and lock it back, knowing its hopeless to think shed message me or call before coming home. Shes too stubborn and broken to do that.

A loud giggle pulls my attention away from my black screen to the living room where Jaime is playing with Laylah. Hes sitting on his knees, Laylah high above his head in his hands like a bad reanactment of The Lion King. He smiles open mouthedly at her and brings her down to him, kissing her neck before shooting her back into the air, another round of giggles erupting from her tiny form.

God shes gorgeous.

What hair she does have is all black like Delilahs but is starting curl like mine naturally is. Her cheeks are still chubby and soft, one deep dimple in one. She doesnt speak much, just enough for us to not be taking her to specialist or doctors. She says a few words like dadda and mama or when she isnt getting attention she'll yell' Attenton pweese'. She already calls the guys her uncles and Tony Papa or Turtle. It kills me how much they took to liking her after just recently meeting her. Its like the past year hasnt even happened and it wasnt just me with Delilah in the hospital while she had Laylah.

Ahh, my girls. My beautiful, beautiful girls.

"Noah, Noah. Hello earth to Noah! Noah!" Mike yells at me, waving his hands at me from his seat. I snap my head over at them, a look of shock on my face. I look up at Mike for a answer of why he was breaking my awesome concetration of my family when I see Vic pointing to my hand. I look down and about have a heart attack when I see its Delilah calling. I swipe my finger across the screen and hold the phone to my ear.

"Hey baby, whats the matter?" I ask into the phone, glancing up at the guys and mouthing Delilahs name at them.

"Noah please, help me." She begs frantically into the phone.

"Woah Delilah calm down, whats wrong?"

"No please. Noahs please save me Noah please!" She cries in the phone, her voice breaking.

"Delilah whats wrong baby?" I ask more frantically, getting up and walking quickly to the boys.

"Noah please save me! Noah pleas-" the line clicks off, leaving the air between us tense and heavy.

I click my phone and start digging through Mikes pockets. He quickly slaps my hand away and gives me a surprised look. "No homo dude, you got a kid." "No you idiot give me your keys." I continue to dig till I find them in his jeans pocket and take off towards the front door

"Yo New York wanna tell us where your running off to with my baby?" Mike yells after me. Jaime appears from the living room, Laylah on his hip like a mom would hold her own child.

"Just please watch Laylah for a while and if Delilah calls, immediatly tell me. Ill fill your car up on my way home with Delilah. Bye guys." I shout the last part over my shoulder as the door closes behind me.

20 minuets or so later, I pull into the hospital parking lot and swing Mikes old mustang into the closest parking spot I can find. I fling the door open and almost forget to lock it back. This thing gets stolen, Mike'll cast me downstairs and back so many times, ill need reservations with the devil.

I sprint to tue front doors and yank the door open, not evening pausing to see if it closes back or not. The front desk lady who was here when Delilah and I first came is sitting back in her tall red chair, eyeing her clipboard from before.

"Ma'am?" I ask, panting for breathe as I grip the counter. She holds up a finger then continues to scan the the front of her clipboard. After a long minuet she finally pushes a different clipboard towards me, this one so full of paper it looks like the clip is about to bust.

"Fill out every section except 83 and 72 if your non religious and or not currently on a Visa Green card." She says, not even bothering to glance up at me. "No ma'am im not hurt. I was here earlier with my fiancee. She just called me in hysterics and I'm here to get her. I just need the room number for her dad, Tony Perry." "Dont worry sir, we have everything under control." She says like a machine, her eyebrows going up so high on her forehead I thought God was trying to pull them off. She licks her finger and flips the page of a magazine shes holding behind her clipboard.

Anger bubbles inside me and I go to speak again." Ma'am I am not injured and I know the responsible staff members have everything under control. I just came to get the room number-" "Dont worry sir, we have everything under control." She repeats, licking another finger to turn another page. I finally lose it and slam my palm on the desk, making a loud boom ring through out the small room. The nurse along with another who was sitting just a few feet away, jump in their seats and finally look up at me. " I dont care if your crappy staff claim to have everything under control, I just want the god dang room number!" I shout, fed up with the crappy treatment ive been given today. The room is dead silent, the only faint sound is the one coming from nearby heart monitors and other machines.

Just before the magazine reader can even blink, a blood curdling scream breaks the momentary silence. It was a young womans scream, too loud and too high to even be close to a man. It came from just down the hallway to the left of the front desk, the one I remember chasing Delilah down earlier. I start almost power walking down the same hall the scream came from then soon find myself running. Another scream bursts through my eardrums and I pick the pace up faster till im sprinting down the hall. I round the corner to find a group of nurses and burly men in pale blue uniforms fighting to hold something, or someone, down.

Feet pound and stomp from behind me, the feet of the nurses I scared back at the front desk. Then I feel hands pulling and yanking me back down the hall, trying to push me away from their true colors. Then I hear it.

"Noah! Noah help! Noah!" Its Delilah. Its Delilah thats inside the circle of muscle and knowledge. Its Delilahs screams that echoed through the walls.

"Delilah!" I yell back, fighting against the two nurses who are held onto my arms. "Delilah im here!" I yell to her, hoping she can hear me. "Noah! Noah Please! Make them stop!" She shouts back, her voice growing softer. I break free of the nurses tight grips and push past the blue nurse men into the inner circle. There I can see 5 or 6 doctors and nurses trying to hold down and struggling and fighting Delilah whos trapped in the middle of everything. As I stand and watch, I see mulitple hands try and grab at her arms and legs while other hands hold needles filld with all kinds of drugs of all kinds of colors.

"Delilah, Delilah baby im here." I call out to her, pushing past nurses and doctors to try and reach her. As soon as I start though, nurses turn to me and tell me to stay back, that I shouldnt be here and to go away. I ignore them and continue to push past the horde of people till I finally get a grip onto Delilahs wrist. With all my might I pull her towards me, feeling several other grasps hold tight before finally releasing. She gives one last heart pounding scream before she springs free from the crowd and falls against my chest, her frail arms immediatly wrapping around me and holding on tight. I wrap my arms around her small body and hold her tight against me, so happy to be holding her.

"Noah, Noah please. Theyre here! Theyre coming to get me." She screams into my chest, her nails biting into my back and her body curling in on herself. "Who baby? Whos coming?" I ask, squeezing her tighter. I look up at the nurses and doctors who have been staring at us for the past few minuets, silently standing back. "No Noah! Please theyre here, theyre going to get me." She cries in my chest again. I pry her off my shirt and hold her face in my hands, trying to get her to focus on me.

"Delilah, Delilah look at me baby." I wait a second before so her eyes fall on me before asking," Whos here?"

She hesitates a moment before uttering the most spine wripping names God himself ever made." Jack and Roger. Theyre back Noah."
