Intractable || A Cscoop Story

We sat in comfortable silence minus the music that quietly played on the radio the entire way to the house, which I was deeply thankful for because I was a bit worn out by the almost seven hour flight I just endured. I was apparently so worn out that I had apparently fallen asleep, getting woken up by a slight nudge from Cooper, "Hey Veronica, we're here" his voice softer than I had expected, I guess he didn't want to startle me? Not sure.

I slowly stirred awake, rubbing my eyes and stretching as much as I possibly could in the back of the small car as it was put in park in front of a decently sized house with a beautiful exterior which I hope would match the interior, but I'm not sure, especially if seven guys all lived in it together. Anyway, All of the guys were getting out of the car and I followed, once I was out of the car I could finally fully stretch out my limbs. I went to the back of the car and opened the trunk grabbing my suitcase and followed the boys into the house.

When I stepped inside a gust of cold air hit my face compared to the blistering heat of California, it felt nice. When walking in I saw Noah in the kitchen, with Charlie and Ted sprawled out on the large, comfy looking couch. "Well, what a nice welcome guys" I said a bit sarcastically, it being a joke. "OH shit! We didn't even realize that you guys walked in" Charlies explained hopping up from the couch approaching me to give me a big hug, Ted and Noah following suit.

We had some small talk again about how the flight was and all the great stuff until I yawned, "I'll show you to your room for the next week Veronica" Carson butted into the conversation, which I didn't mind because I wanted to get settled in so I could just chill with the guys for the rest of the day.

Carson led me upstairs and down the hall and opened the room at the end of the hall on the right. "This is your room, mine is right across the hall if you need anything" He said a smile on his face as I walked into the nicely decorated guest room. I placed my suitcase on the floor next to the door as Carson left me so I could get settled in.

I put my clothes in the small dresser that was in the room, I put my toiletries and makeup on top of the dresser so when I needed to get ready all of the stuff would be together. I then flopped down on the full sized bed and hummed in content, this bed was comfortable, so very comfortable. So comfortable apparently that I had fallen asleep.

I woke up to Travis shaking me softly, "Veronica we're about to play some games, you wanna join?" He said at a whisper, "uh... yeah give me a minute though". He nodded and left the room closing the door behind him. I sat up and stretched, how long had I been sleeping? I check my phone and it reads, 5:43, so probably like two hours? I felt refreshed though. I got up and ran my fingers through my hair and made my way downstairs.

When I made it downstairs I was met with all the guys gathered on the "L" shaped couch while Cooper and Schlatt were playing Just Dance 2 on the Wii. On the end of the couch was Carson next to him was Noah, Travis in the corner Charlie on the other end and Ted next to him.

The song that the two were dancing to was Toxic by The Hit Crew (cause apparently they didn't get the rights from Brittany or somethin idk). I chucked as I took a seat next to Travis. "Thanks for waking me up, just in time for the show" I whispered to Travis, earning a giggle from him.

After Schlatt had lost to Cooper he gave me the Wii remote stating, "good luck champ, he's a cheater" "how can you cheat at Just Dance Schlatt?" Carson said looking at Schlatt with a raised brow. "U-uhhh j-just shut up dickhead" he said as he plopped down on the other side of Travis.

I sighed as I got up and walked next to Cooper, "now what song are we playin?" I said as he was shuffling through the songs. "How about you guys do Girlfriend!" Charlie called out, "no'' I heard ted pipe in, "they obviously gotta play Mambo No. 5!" Earning a few "yeahs" from the rest of the guys. "I guess we're playing Mambo No. 5" Cooper said, choosing the song, "but I get to be the girl" I rolled my eyes as we switched places so he could be the girl.

I ended up winning causing Cooper to whine. "Oh shut up you sore loser" I said, shoving him playfully. Just then my stomach rumbled awfully loud causing me to chuckle, "I guess I'm hungry" I said. "I am too actually, you guys wanna order a pizza?" Noah said, getting out his phone. Everyone agreed. "Until then, who's down for some Mario Kart?" Carson said.

We ended up playing a few cups before the pizza arrived, when it did we absolutely destroyed the pizza. We were all laid on the couch, the same arrangements as before but on the other side of me sat Cooper. We had decided to watch a movie but like three fourths of the way through the movie everyone had left to bed.

"I guess I should probably go to sleep now, to hopefully fix my sleep schedule" I got up and stretched as I started to walk towards the stairs. "Okay, I'll be in my room if you need, cause I know the rest of the knuckleheads are probably already conked out." Cooper spoke up before I could make it up the stairs. "Thank you, Cooper," I said, giving him a sweet smile before I walked upstairs to my bedroom.

Once I got in there I grabbed my charger and plugged it into the wall and then the charger to my phone. I grabbed my nightly routine products and went into the bathroom. I washed my face, moisturized, brushed my teeth and put my hair up into a sloppy loose bun. I returned to my room and plopped myself right on the bed and sighed, looking up at the ceiling as I covered myself in the comforter. I closed my eyes and hoped I'd fall asleep soon.
