Jaden in the media section.

_______________

Once in my room I pulled out my laptop. I didn't have a lot of media profiles, but I did have Facebook. Which is odd because I really didn't like that kind of stuff. As I opened my account I hadn't touched in years maybe, I had one person on my mind.

Max.

I had a mission to fulfill. Did Max have a girlfriend? Silly I know for a 23 year old to be stalking a man her age to see if he had a girlfriend.

I had finally pulled up the page. I clicked on my world. I literally had 673 notifications. How? I had one friend on Facebook, Stephanie, and she posted every stinkin' day!! As for my friend requests, I had 96. Yeah I had a lot of friends back in high school and my fathers friends I guess.

I clicked on the search bar and started to type in Max Landon when my phone beeped. I stopped and took up my phone. It was a text.

Bro❤: Hey Sis, can we meet up? I have something to discuss with you. How about the Starbucks on Wickam street? is that to far for you? Text back soon!

Jaden

My brother texted me.... This must be important, dangerous, or very serious girl trouble. I grabbed my keys off a hook and left my room replying to Jaden.

Me: I'll be there in 20 minutes.

Bro❤: Okay, thanks.

~20 minutes later~

I pulled up into an empty parking space and stepped out of my car. I locked it and crossed the parking lot.

As soon as I stepped inside the very small coffee shop I was able to spot my brother. He looked tired.

"What's so urgent?" I asked, sitting down.

"Amy, do you remember the day dad was killed?"

Any nodded not exactly sure where he was going with this.

"Hold your breath this is shocking, I found a lead on his supposed accident." Jaden said as he let out a breath. Determination, anger and pain spread across his face. When our father died Jaden was shattered into a million pieces.

I stared. We knew someone had set it up but even as the police dug around and highly trained agents searched they couldn't find a single clue.

"I want to know everything." I stated.

"Okay, here I go" he took a deep breath and started, "the day of his death back in June I was watching TV. As I flipped through the various channels one caught my eye. It was of a wreak in Philadelphia. The cars were in almost the exact same position. As I watched further I noticed the bystanders one of them was dressed in average clothing and had hair similar to mine. But I remember him because he had a dragon tattoo on his right forearm. So I called the agency that worked with us when father was killed. I asked for the video taken by the news and by stop light. As I watched them I noticed the same guy. Literally. Same tattoo and matching style of clothing. So I looked into it did some research and here I am."

I was utterly shocked. I mean it's been ten year since our father was in that 'accident'.

"So what are you going to do? How are you going to get the police to believe you it was a fake?"

"Well since I don't have full evidence I'm going to wait until next June to take action in my at the moment not so organized plan. Since I have time and money right now though, I am going to plan everything out from telling the police to catching the murderer or murderers."

"So you're telling me that in June, if another accident occurs you're going to hunt down the guys who did it and claim that they killed our father also, and bring them to justice? Isn't that a bit, I don't know... IMPOSSIBLE?!?!" I yelled the last word and all the people in the shop turned and looked at us. I mouthed a sorry to everyone and faced my brother again.

"I'm going to prove, not claim, Amy. And yes it is possible. If its true."

"Okay we'll let me know before you leave and inform me of your plan before you execute it. You know I'm a good detective" I winked and Jaden coughed, "you never know, I might find a hole in your plan and it may save you from public embarrassment."

"Well, we'll see."

"You better!"

"Okay fine I'll text you around May. have fun I need to get back home."

"Okay bye Jaden." We exchanged quick hugs and he left.

______________

Once I got back to my apartment I was able to finish what I set out for before the unexpected text.

I pulled my screen up and typed in my password. I hit enter and immediately came up with Max.

His profile made my heart sink. It was a picture of a girl and him. She was beautiful and had a short blonde bob. Her eyes were a startling blue.

I didn't stay on his page long. After closing the browser I pulled it up again realizing I needed to make something for dinner.

As I was looking through online recipes I played my music and let my self drift off into my own world and away from reality.

That night I had Alfredo and noodles. Then went to bed as soon as I could.
