Best Friend

(Y/N)'s POV:

I just escaped Wonderland after the red queen chopped off my head and then reattached it. My fiance is long gone and so is my daughter. I just needed to find my way out of here before the queen's knights come after me and kill me. Again. 

"You look like you are in need of a savior," A man said from up against a tree. I stopped in my tracks and looked him up and down. By the way, he stood and how many rings he has on both hands I could tell he was a wanted man by many ladies as well as the knights. The leather he wore helped me see that he is also a pirate. 

"You are a man of the sea?" I asked as he nodded. "Eye. You are a woman in need of help. Come aboard my ship and I can promise you safe passage from this place," He said while offering his left hand for me to take. I nodded and then we left aboard the Jolly Roger. 

"Do you always help people you find in the woods?" I asked as he steered the ship with caution. "No, but you seemed to have that look of desperation!" He said loudly so I could hear him over the crashing waves. "So, what's your story?" He asked as I looked out to the sea. It was magical. 

"My fiance and I traveled here through a portal but once we had a child we all couldn't leave through the same portal so I stayed behind. The queen didn't seem to like that so she kept me as a pet for her bidding," I said while he stuck his hand in a bag and pulled out a bean. "This portal is very different. All I have to do is think of a place and it will take me there. It doesn't matter how many people enter or leave," He said while throwing it overboard. "HANG ON!" He exclaimed while I grabbed onto the rope closest to me. 

I closed my eyes because I was scared of what was going to happen. I opened them and saw a land that I have never seen before. "Where are we?" I asked as he smiled. "The Enchanted Forest," He said with a smile. "Killian! What happened?" I heard a woman yell from below deck. I smiled at the captain since I have now learned his name. "If you excuse me. My queen has awoken," He said while swiftly running below deck. 

"Who is she?" I asked the pirate next to me. "Her name is Milah. She is the Captian's girl," The man said as I smiled at the captain and his girl kiss and smile at each other. "You must be the woman that Killian picked up in Wonderland," Milah said as she went to shake my hand. "You must be Milah," I said as she and I smiled at each other. 

"We are going to go get a drink would you like to join us?" Milah asked as I nodded. "I've never had a girlfriend before. All my friends when I was in Wonderland were trees, flowers, cats, and creepy twins," I said as Milah just stared at me in confusion. "Well, you have me now," She said as Killian smiled. "Glad to see you two getting along but we should leave if you want to see Bae any time soon," he said while moving his hands as in to show us we had to get a move on. 

I smiled and then Milah and I left the ship holding hands. We entered the pub and Milah let go of my hand so she could hug a little boy that was there. "What is a little boy doing in a pub?" I asked Killian as he smiled at his girl and what I assumed to be her son. "Milah and her husband are in disagreement so her son meets us here every once in a while to see his mom," He said as I nodded while heading to one of the wenches so I could get a drink. 

We all drank and spoke to Baelfire about his pa while we waited for it to be time for him to leave. "It was nice to meet you Baelfire," I said as the kid smiled at me. He then left and Killian took us all back to the ship so that we could get ready to leave. 

A few hours later we heard footsteps from above deck since Milah and I went below to pick out some new clothes for me. "Do you hear that?" I asked as Milah just shook her head. "It's probably just smee he walks so loudly," She said which made us both giggle. I then heard the sound of swords. "We should probably go see if they are okay," I said as I got up and started to make my way towards the ladder. "You stay here. I will check it out," She said as I nodded and then saw her walk up the ladder. 

I popped my head above the ladder just so I could see what was happening. It was the Dark one. The one that Jefferson was running from when we met. "Rumple! What are you doing?" Milah yelled as she went over to the dark one. She spoke to him as she knew him. They were fighting over Milah. Milah is the Dark one's wife! It all makes sense now. But why is he here? 

I kept watching and I wanted to scream when I saw him take Milah's heart out of her chest and crush it. I stood there and cried and then had to watch as he left after taking Killian's left hand. As soon as he left I went above deck and ran over to Killian. He and I cried over Milah's dead body. 

Smee and I threw Milah's body overboard in a nice memorial for Killian since he was now ready to kill anyone that wrongs him again. "I will hunt that crocodile for what he did. And I won't stop until I have his beating heart in my hand," He said as Smee and I just looked at each other with worried looks. 

We kept by each other until one day the Evil Queen decided to make her curse. I held onto Killian's hand but it was no use. The purple smoke consumed me and I fell into a long slumber like a curse. 

When I woke up I was sitting in a chair and I was sitting in a room that had hats pinned to the walls as well as tea on the table. "Jefferson?" I yelled as I got up and ran into the hall where Jefferson was passed out. I stood over him and woke him up gently. 

After the curse was broken, a lot of things happened. Yes, Jefferson and I got Grace back and we were a happy family. But, The Evil Queen tried to kill us all many times, and then Emma Swan and her mother got trapped in another world because Regina still had Jefferson's original hat. When Emma and Snow came back, they brought Regina's mother who tried to have both Jefferson and I killed but thankfully they also brought back my best friend.

I was waiting for my daughter to get out of school when I heard my name being called. I turned to see Killian standing there with a blank look on his face. "Killian?" He nodded and I got up to run over to him. "I've missed you so much!" I said as he and I laughed as we hugged. "I'm glad to see you!" He said while letting go of me. He sat down on the bench with me and we spoke about how each of us got here and what we did in the meantime. 

I told him about my cursed life working at a diner and then how happy I was when I found Jefferson and Grace again. He told me about Cora and him making a deal and then he told me a secret. He has a crush on Emma Swan but I promised him I wouldn't tell a soul. 

Grace saw me on the bench and ran over to me. "Gracie, I would like for you to meet your uncle Killian," I said as she smiled and then shook his hand. "I should be going. Cora is going to take my head if I don't show up at her place soon," He said which made me chuckle, and then he was on his way. "I hope I get to see you again soon, love," He said while walking away. I nodded and smiled while Grace and I walked in the opposite direction.
