"I'm bored!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. My maids came running to me as I sat atop my thrown. "Is there anything we can do for you milady?" My head maid asked kindly as she frantically did her best to get me to smile. "Maybe a husband would make you smile more, my dear," I heard my mother say behind me with a scoff. I rolled my eyes and looked to my maid who had a smile on her face. "The other maids and I have gone around the kingdom and found some eligible men that would love to meet you," She said softly while looking at the floor mid curtsy.
I looked at my mother and she nodded with a gleeful smile. I nodded at my maids and they scurried to go retrieve the men. I stayed in my castle and waited for the men to arrive so that I can kill them all. I may be a Queen but my mother shouldn't have taught me magic.
A few hours after the men arrived I was standing on the castle floors surrounded by the men dead on the floor next to the ashes of their crushed hearts. Literally and figuratively.
"Next time someone brings an eligible man into this castle do you mind going on a date with them instead of killing them?" My mother asked as I crushed the last heart and then walked back up to my thrown.
As I sat in my seat I heard some footsteps throughout the castle grounds. "Don't take my heart out!" He yelled as I stood ready to do just that. "Who are you?" I asked as I walked down my steps to get closer to him. He was cute. He has dark hair, bright blue eyes, scruff that was just enough to brush lightly on my cheeks as I kiss him, and he had a hook for a hand. "The name is Captain Hook," He said while bowing at my feet.

My mother walked down the steps and took his hand. He kissed it and she looked angry. I was happy. "Captain? As in you are pirate?" I asked while he nodded at me with the kindest smile I had seen all day. "I am also an eligible man and have been told that I was promised a date by the Queen." "Yes, that would be me," I said before my mother could tell me to stay home.
"You will have her home by sunset or else I will send the knights out for your head on a plate," My mother said as I smiled and grabbed Hook by his hook. I ran right out the castle doors. I was going to run around free and dance until the sun rose in the morning. If they sent anyone after me I would kill them with a snap of my fingers.
"We can go to get a drink if you like or we can go for a nice ride on my ship or-" "Hook was it? I'm not here to go out with you. You just show more potential on protecting me from my mother so that I may have a few minutes away from her," I said while magically giving myself a new outfit to walk around in instead of that gown my mother calls Queen etiquette.
