MASS MURDERER ESCAPES AZKABAN
Rita Skeeter
This morning at the Ministry of Magic, shock and fear is heavy in the air as ministry officials try to make sense of what has happened. Yours truly, Rita Skeeter, is here to report to you that one Sirius Orion Black has escaped from his cell in Azkaban.
Unfortunately, there has been no evidence found to explain how the mass-murderer, convicted for the murder of 13 muggles and Peter Pettigrew, escaped from his cell in Azkaban. It is rumoured that he got help from his brother-in-law, Adrian Christos, who is also incarcerated in Azkaban for the notorious mass murder of '84 when Christos, only 17 at the time, murdered his own mother and four siblings – including the mother of Black's children; twins Lacerta and Aquila Black.
It has also been rumoured that Black received help from his daughters, who are currently attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With the Black twins refusing to comment about these recent events, it can only be assumed that their silence is a ploy to cover their undoubtable guilt. Lacerta Black, in particular, is believed to display symptoms of psychosis similar to her deranged uncle and lunatic father.
"I don't like to speak ill of anyone, especially not the mentally ill," says fellow third-year Pansy Parkinson, a pretty and kind-hearted girl, "but Black's got a bit of a reputation at Hogwarts for being a bit of a lunatic, always throwing tantrums and getting violent over nothing. There was one time she threw a butter knife at me during breakfast. Completely unprovoked!"
It appears Lacerta Black's peers are quite terrified of her. Professor Albus Dumbledore has yet to comment about what precautions will be set up to ensure his students' safety from Sirius Black's daughter.
