Y/n's pov

For days Charli and I either texted, facetimed, or called each other. Our conversations would go on for hours until one of us fell asleep to just resume it the following day. I have still been talking to my other friends of course, I'm not dropping my whole social life. The only thing is that I haven't told Addison about Charli even though I've had plenty of chances to do so since we facetime everyday as well. I honestly have no idea why I haven't yet, she's my bestie, but I guess I'm just scared she will not approve. Addison is super picky when it comes to the girls I start 'talking' to because her phrase is "if she's dating you, she's dating me too". That's how most of my past relationships ended, all the girls were jealous of my bond with Addison and the fact that we were those clingy type friends. But today, I'm going to tell her and when I tell her how happy this girl is making me, there is no doubt that she'll be accepting of me potentially starting up a relationship with Charli.

I was laying on the living room couch scrolling through this snapchat group chat trying to catch up on what these boys were bickering about now. Addison's face suddenly popped up on my screen, I hesitantly clicked the green button.
"Wow it's about time you're up this early", She said putting a hand on her chest as if she was having a stroke.
"Oh damn you're right I should sleep in more, bye!"
"Y/n/n! Push that button and regret it!"
"I wasn't going to geez you take everything literally", I chuckled.
"So what's been keep you so busy?"
"Why do you ask? I mean there's nothing going on", I said trying to not blurt out my words so much.
"Yeah... right. C'mon I've been your best friend for like ever and to think I wouldn't notice our convos getting shorter. You must think I'm a total airhead. Tell me what's going on", Addison said rather sternly.
I gulped in response, knowing that this was the time to tell her.
"Alright, alright. A few days ago...~"

Ever since meeting Y/n at that Dunkin, we haven't stopped talking like the fact that she spilt her coffee all over me led to this whole new friendship. I love meeting new people especially in these crazy ways because it makes for good memories to look back on. When Y/n gave me all her social media accounts, I followed them instantly and I may or may not have stalked a bit. She doesn't post anything on instagram which is making it hard to see what kind of person she is. I know she's sweet and everything face to face, but I really don't know what's beyond that. To be honest, the amount of time we have been talking has made me get to know her more. I know the basics like her favorite color, food, animal, and all that jazz, but also she told me some personal stories about herself. I've opened up to her more than I usually would with a person I just met. I told her about my passion for dancing and that I do tiktok, I was shocked that she had no idea what that was and I had to explain the whole app to her. She said she heard about it once from some friend, but didn't download it because she saw how it caused them to be obsessed with it. I don't blame her for not wanting to get caught up in it, I spend most of my time on the platform and I can stare at my screen for hours on end looking at all these ridiculous videos. I'm just glad that she doesn't know who I am. Most of the people I've met on the streets have only wanted me as a friend for one thing, clout. I've been used on countless occasions and I promised myself that I wouldn't do that to myself again, but Y/n seemed so real and genuine, I couldn't resist. Lately, I've been going to her since all the hate that comes with being an influencer has recently been getting to me. I cried to her yesterday for the first time and she calmed me down effortlessly.

"Holy shit! You mean the Charli D'amelio?! The famous tiktoker?!", Addison's jaw was almost hitting the floor as she screamed like a mad man.
"Uhm yeah that's what I said"
"Fuck facetime, I'm heading over asap... rocky"
"You really had to add the rocky?", I giggled at her stupidity.
"Yes it's very necessary and it sounds weird to say asap all by itself", She said trying to make a logical reasoning out of it.
Before I could make fun of her some more, she ended the call and by that I knew that she was going to hall her ass over here in that fruity jeep of hers. I huffed knowing exactly how it's going to play out once she gets here. To me it seems like Addison already is in favor of Charli, but that could all be an act. My phone kept blowing up with notifications. I checked and of course it was Addison saying she's pulling in my driveway.
"Damn she's always texting a driving... stupid bitch", I let out a small giggle while looking a the texts.
Charli was also texting me at the moment, just saying that she's going to be busy for the rest of the evening with live streams and dance class.
