Y/n's pov

Hmm Charli? Interesting name for a girl. Not that it can't be used for both genders, I just never heard a girl with it. It suited her now that I think about it and it was rather cute than unusual.
"Like the one from the chocolate factory?", I joked, but quickly wiped the smile that was forming on my lips.
"Again I apologize, I don't know what's up with me and my need for commentary"
She chuckled at the nervous wreck in front of her.
"Don't worry about it, I love jokes and sarcasm! That's what I'm most fluent in", Charli said giving me a toothy grin which made my stomach do a flip.
'Wow didn't know it did that' I thought and unknowingly put a hand on the area.
"Only efficient way to communicate in my opinion", I replied scratching the side of my neck.
"Glad we're on the same page", She giggled then peered down at the phone in her hand.
"Oh crap. Look I gotta run, I have to be somewhere and my friends are waiting for me over there", Charli said almost sighing as she pointed to a black tesla across the lot.
I peered to the direction that she was gazing at and saw her friends waving at her erratically signaling that it's time to go.
"Well it was nice spilling coffee on you today, we should do it again sometime"
"Oh for sure, I'll wear a raincoat to be extra prepared", She added in a joking tone.
This girl is seriously something special and I don't want to lose the chance to get to know her as if this incident never happened. She's leaving right now, what do I do? I can't stop her and say 'No don't go'. That would be plain creepy, we literally met minutes ago.
"Uhm bye", She said dragging out her words as she begun to walk towards the black tesla.
"Bye~ I guess", I sighed, but whispered the last part to not sound so depressed.
"Hey wait!", the short girl energetically yelled and ran back up to me.
"Do you have snap or insta? Or you know a phone number works as well"
Her eyebrows were raised and her eyes were gleaming with hope. She held her phone up to my face already unlocked.
"I sure do", I shyly choked out, feeling a warmness flush to my cheeks.
"To which one?", her face was now full of confusion.
"All of them silly", I lightly laughed and snatched the phone from her hand to add in all my info.
Charli was deeply focused on me typing away that from the corner of my eye I saw her have her bottom lip in between her teeth. I grin while I added the last of the three forms of communication she listed which was my phone number of course.
"There you are"
I gave the phone to her and she peeked at the screen for a second then squealed. Why'd she do that? I mean isn't flirting suppose to be more discreet than obvious?
"Awesome! We should totally hang soon so count on me to be spamming you", She said excitedly.
"D'amelio! Chop chop! We're gonna be late!", a guy from the drivers seat of the tesla yelled from the window.
"Gotta scram, it's serious when Thomas starts raising his voice"
And in an instant she was gone, already zooming down the road that was in opposite of the direction I needed to go to get home.

I drove home in the most holly jolly mood. I couldn't remember the last time I've felt this happy let alone smiled this much. I guess I really didn't need coffee to uplift the grumpiness from me in the first place just a dose of a certain short girl. Who knew something so magical could happen at a Dunkin Donuts. My love for Starbucks is nonexistent at this point, now that Dunkin has the hook up for both caramel iced coffees and cute brunettes. Before I knew it, I was already parked in front of my house. It hardly felt like a twenty minute drive at all. The only thing I wanted at this moment was to fall on my bed and scream into a pillow. And that is exactly what I did. I made sure my mom left for work beforehand so I can fan girl in peace. My first instinct was to facetime Addison about this huge news however a sudden ding from my phone echoed through my room. My face scrunched out of curiosity on who was texting me right now. Maybe my mom telling me to just order out for dinner again as usual or my stupid guy friends sending me memes again for the thousandth time.
"Ughh they never learn", I rolled my eyes as I released a sigh.
I flipped the phone in my hand so that the lock screen was visible. It wasn't my dumb friends or my mom. It was an unknown number, but I had a clue of who it was which brought a smirk to play on my lips.
