(Jungkook's POV)

I had just walked in to work, but since I just started school again I have a little morning shift and then the night shift. "Dude i thought you were supposed to be at school?" Namjoon asked me as I started to put on an apron. "Yeah i did but i need the money so i'll work as well.'' I just hope no one from school sees me here. "Don't worry i dont think anyone from your school comes here before class, at least i don't think so. '' he said rubbing his chin. "H-how did you know what i was thinking?'' I looked at him leaning against the counter with a smile. "i just know you so well and you don't want to get caught working somewhere like here, well.... for popularity." i smile at him and say "well i just don't want to see anyone i know because i just don't like anyone there." well i like someone ther- wtf no that's gay. I'm not gay. "I know that face kookie." I look at him and repeat the same face, "Who's the girl?" "there's no girl Joon." yeah well no GIRL. "Yeah uh huh whatever, you gotta customer." he said while punching my arm and pointing to the door. I laugh and look at the girls who walked in. "Hey can we just get 4 iced coffee?" "that will be $10.60, can i get a name?" I looked at the girl in the front. "Yeah make it for maddie." I give her a smile and walk to make their drinks.

I was making the second drink when Namjoon walked up to me, "hey man i think that maddie girl likes you." he pointed to the group of girls looking at us and giggling. I laugh and look back at him "this isn't 5th grade anymore Joon." i finished up the last drink "well you should at least try to get a hookup, how long has it been since you've had your di-" i slammed the cup down making a little sound, "JOon! This is not the time to talk about this. It's also not your business to know about that." he looked at me surprised "wow what happened to the Jungkook i knew last year? Always with a new girl every DAY! After what happened with So-" i looked at him with a death glare. "Right right she who shall not be named i get it." i called out Maddie's name for her order, "look i'm just focusing on school and work right now." i hand her the straws and give her a smile "have a good day." she grabbed my hand and put something in it. "I'll see you around Jungkook," she said, walking away giving me a wink. "Wow wow wow, did she just give you her phone number?" i look down at the paper in my hand oh my god why don't i feel anything? I wasn't even attracted to her. Namjoon grabbed the paper out of my hand.

"okay, okay, cut the cheesy shit. i believe you on the whole school thing. Now go take the order." i walk up to the counter not looking at the people in front of me. "Hello, can i take your order?"
