It was night. Dong Hua decided to take a stroll in the mortal world as he couldn't sleep. He was walking through the deep and dark forest. The source of light was the full moon which shined brightly in the dark night and the white hair of the God bathed in the moon light which gave a majestic aura around him. He was walking absent minded-ly.
Suddenly he heard some rustling around and followed the sound. He came to halt when a saw a lion chasing a fox. On taking a closer look at the lion, it was not an ordinary lion but a demon lion chasing a small fox. He pitied the fox and saved it by killing the demon lion with his sword, the Cang He.
The injured fox was hiding behind a tree and he picked it up in his arms and saw a slash around it's paw and neck. He decided to bring it to heaven and nurse it back to health.
From what he could see that the fox was a spiritual one and a beautiful creature. He was very fond of furry animals. The fox was a one tailed red fire fox. He became fascinated with it when he saw the fox being chased by a demon lion and that fox's fur shined brightly under the moon light.

He liked the fox when it was in his arms, he scratched the fox behind it's ear and in return the fox slowly licked his other arm. It was a sign of gratitude. He was impressed with the fox as no one has ever showed him some affection.
He was born-ed with immense power and had no parents. He was adopted by Heavenly Father. His only friends were Mo Yuan, Zhe Yan and Bai Zi. Others only tried to take his advantage and wanted protection from him. When Heavenly Father passed away he became the lord of Heaven and Earth. Women were infatuated with him and only wanted to gain powers. They didn't love him as a person but loved for his power.
Dong Hua thought that the fox was actually scared of him so he showed the sign of caressing by scratching behind it's ear. He thought the spiritual fox was showing gratitude after saving it from the demon lion and didn't show the sign of possessiveness.
The fox was actually scared of the the white haired person and hid behind a tree out of fear when he killed that big lion. When that person checked for wounds and scratched gently behind it's ear, the fox felt safe and for saving it licked that person's arm. It was a sign for thanking him that he saved her life.

Note : Dong Hua has not realised that the fox is actually a female. This is the first part of this Chapter 1 and is based on Dong Hua's point of view and in the second part it will be on Feng Jiu's point of view on that night. On Chapter 2 the fox's gender will be revealed and the main focus will be on fox's life in heaven.
