Today, I'm hanging out with a few friends. It's good for me to have friends in the industry because sometimes life can feel a little lonely. Even though I've encountered some bad friends and have made bad decisions when it came to who I hung out with. I think I'm getting better.
"Kendall" I said walking toward her. "How are you? Thanks for hanging today" "Hey Justin, I'm good I hope you don't mind I invited two friends" she smiles "This is Hailey, and this is Lauren" "I know you you're Stephen Baldwin's daughter right ?" I asked "that's me" she smiles "but I prefer Hailey" "Wait you know each other?" Kendall asks "Yes, I told you him and I went bowling once" Hailey laughs "Oh that's right.. haha.. small world" I say "and you said your name is Lauren?" "Yeah, Lauren" Lauren says with a smile
"Justin what exactly are we doing today that you're inviting all these people over ?" Kendall asked "Just hanging" I laugh "let me introduce you girls to my boys" I walk them to the group of guys standing by the pool of my house "this is Matt, Rudy, Maejor, Za, Khalil, And Nash" The boys wave and smile "you guys know Kendall these are her friends Lauren and Hailey, Hailey is Stephen Baldwin's daughter " Hailey laughs and waves at the boys "hi" she says "are you going to introduce me like that for the rest of the day?" "Why? you don't like it ?" I ask with a slight smirk on my face "I can stop if you want" "It's fine" she laughs "I'm just wondering"
After the introduction we all hand out by the pool. "So Hailey how you been? Last time I saw you you were at my Believe show right ?" I ask "I'm good can't complain and you ?" She smiles "I'm good too." Hailey and I spoke for ours just catching up and laughing about all the stupid stuff I was saying. She was so laid back and chill I just felt like I didn't need to have a guard up around her. She wasn't acting like she was around Justin Bieber the superstar. She saw me as just Justin. "So how's it been not being on tour?" She asked "It's been good to have a slight break. I don't know if I can consider it a break really" I sigh "HAILLEYYYY" Kendall calls from the other side of the pool "come here" With that Hailey disappeared to hang out with the girls for the rest of the day. She came up to me again but to say good bye and her, Kendall and Lauren has left for the day. I forgot to ask her for her number or for her Instagram name but I guess I'll just wait until next time she hangs out with us to ask her. ________________________________ It's been two weeks since I last hung out with Kendall and Hailey. I invited Kendall to go bowling and told her to bring Hailey but she said Hailey was back home with her parents. She told me Hailey lives in New York and only comes to LA when her parents give her permission or when she's working on some modeling. I asked her to give me Haileys phone number so that I can stay in touch with her as well. To: Hailey Hey Hailey add my number

From: Hailey Should've started the text with "hey Stephen Baldwin's daughter" I would've known it was you right away 😝
To: Hailey Oh. She has jokes ? Ft me ?
From Hailey: Okay, as soon as I hop out the shower :)
To: Hailey Okay cool 😎
Not sure if she forgot to call me but she didn't. I don't want to seem pushy so I didn't bother texting her again that night or the following day. After all she is just some girl I met and all I want is for her and I to be friends.
From: Hailey Hey, Sorry I didn't call you the other day got caught up on some things. Hope you're doing okay.
I waited a couple hours to text her back and sure my response was dry
To:Hailey Cool. I'm good.
After that message I didn't hear from her for the next couple of days. When we did speak I told her I was going to fly out to New York for a couple of days to see an old friend. She told me that same week she was flying out to LA to see Kendall. She told me she'd hope to see me soon and that's were the conversation ended. I guess I'll make my NY stay a little longer ?. Just so I can see my friend. I posted a picture on shots which caught her attention. She commented on it and even posted her own photo mocking me.

A part of me enjoyed bothering her because I knew she wouldn't take it seriously. But another part of me fears she just like the rest of them. I'm glad I can count on her and call her a friend even if our friendship has just started, I'm so grateful for her realness. I just hope she stays my friend always.
