Hailey and I have been talking every single day since we became friends. We call each other every day but since she lives in New York, I don't really get to see her as much. I'm traveling out to New York to see a pastor who's also friends of mine and I hope I get to see her too. I was on the phone with Hailey for hours and hours talking about God knows what but it felt good to be able to talk to someone and not have feelings for them just talk to someone as a friend.
"I'll be in New York again Thursday and I'm staying a longer time this time around." I said as I walked around my bedroom. "Oh that's cool. I guess I'll see you here then ?" She laughs "Well the pastor lives in Jersey but his church is in NYC" I say laying back on my bed "Pastor Carl ?" She asks quickly "Ayee how do you know ?" I laugh "I've know him since I was like 15. He's the pastor at hillsong church" she says and I am certain she has a smile on her face. "Well then I guess I'll see you in Jersey ?" I smirk "I have to ask my parents for permission but yes you will see me in Jersey" ———————————————- Hailey POV Justin has called me and told me to meet him at the Lentz house. I would've never thought him and I would be close friends the way we are. Usually guys want to be friends with me because they want something out of it and we'll with Justin is doesn't feel that way. We're just a guy and a girl who are friends. Just Friends nothing more. When I arrive at the Lentz house I see Justin and Carl sitting outside talking and I don't want to look like I'm feening to see him so I stay and sit around with Laura. Not sure after Justin and Carl come back in and join us. "Hails" Carl says "how are you ?" He asks as he greets me with a hug. "I'm good pastor Carl.. how are you?" I say with a smile "I'm good happy to see you crazy kids here.. such a small world. I didn't know you to were friends" he laughs "Yeah, we just started hanging out recently" I smile again "hi Justin" "Hi Ms.Baldwin wassup?" He laughs "We can play some scrabble" Laura says as she brings out the scrabble box from her closet "Get ready to lose" I say "I'm pretty good at this game" "I never lose.. I don't take Ls on this side" Justin laughs "pull out the pieces Laura"
After an hour of playing Carl ended up winning and I took second place. Laura kept saying she spelling things differently in Australia or whatever but Justin got last place and we made sure we didn't let him forget it. "Let take a picture hails" Justin says as he comes around me and and pulls out his phone.
