chapter 7🐚

7 am

A loud yawn left Jeongin's mouth as he rubbed his eyes clear of sleep. He looked at his surroundings 'Where am I?' He asked himself as he looked around the unfamiliar room for anything ,even something small, to help him recognise his surroundings. Nothing. He decided to leave the room to look at where he was. The male walked down the staircase and saw blonde curly hair watching the coffee machine as it poured the brown liquid into his cup.

"Chan-hyung?" He asked. The man turned around. "Oh hey Jeongin. How are you?." Chan spoke drawing attention back to the coffee machine as it finished. Jeongin spoke up "I'm good just confused as to where I woke up this morning. Anyway where is everyone else?". Chan got the milk for his coffee and replied " they are all asleep in other spare rooms. It's just you and I that are up." "ahh thanks hyung."

Jeongin made himself a cup of tea and him and Chan sat on the couch and watched a film. They didn't really pay attention to the film and they just got to know each other.

12 pm

Everyone was up, dressed, and fed. They all decided to go on a walk to the park. "Yo Sung don't fall in the river this time" Felix joked pointing to Jisung and holding in his laugh. Jisung sighed "It's hyung to you" "Sorry HyUnG" Felix mocked running off as Jisung began to chase him. "Are they normally like this?" Changbin asked. Seungmin nodded "Yeah it's because Sungie-hyung is a day older than Lixue-hyung so he always makes Lixue-hyung call him hyung and he never does so they end up like this"

After Jisung and Felix stopped chasing each other they got their shoes on and the eight of them started walking to the park.

At the park

"This place is so nice" Chan spoke looking at the reflection of the green trees on the still river. "It is isn't it" Jeongin agreed. The two had been left since everyone else went off on their own without telling the two. Jisung was with Minho, Seungmin was with Hyunjin, and Felix was with Changbin which left Chan and Jeongin alone. The two just decided to go on a walk around and continue getting to know one another. They ended up watching the river whilst sat on the bank drinking a drink they got from the cafe.

"And then I got cut off by his scream and he had fell in, us three were pissing ourselves laughing, I felt kinda bad since he was shivering so i gave him my hoodie. But still to this day it remains one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed with my own two eyes" Jeongin explained whilst laughing. Chan was laughing too. "I wouldn't feel bad, it's his own fault he was way too close to the river. I would've maybe even pushed him in"

"Hey lets go find the others and go watch a movie" Chan suggested getting up and brushing himself off. "Ok sure help me up" Jeongin replied raising a hand for Chan to grab to help him up.

"Uhm Hyung." Jeongin started. Chan looked over at him and replied "Hmm". Jeongin looked down at their interlocked hands, "You can let go of my hand now." Chan immediatly let go. "Oh uhm yeah sorry"

At the movie theater

"Lets watch this" Jisung suggested pointing at the movie 'Tune in for love' with a hopeful expression plastered on his face. Everyone rolled their eyes apart from Jeongin who looked almost as enthusiastic as Jisung. They gave in when the two boys gave them puppy dog eyes. Chan bought eight tickets, snacks, and drinks.

The eight settled in their seats whilst talking and laughing whilst the ads were on. One thing caught Jeongin's attention though, that was the ad about the new Barbie film. He nudged Felix and reached over and poked Jisung and Seungmin then looked back at the ad signalling them. Chan chuckled at Jeongin and went back to talking to Minho, Hyunjin and Changbin.

Once the movie started everyone put on their 3D glasses on and shut up.

At Chan's house

"That was a good movie" Jisung announced for the umpteenth time "We get it!" Everyone replied in unison annoyed at how often Jisung was repeating those same five words over and over again as if it was a mantra.

The four youngest headed back to Felix's house with Chan as the driver at around 8 pm after Chan cooked dinner.

"Thanks Chan-hyung" The four shouted waving at Chan as he left Felix's driveway.

The boys settled down in Felix's living room and put on a random show to watch. They ended up falling asleep with the tv still on as well as all the lights.
